Section A 1a-1c教学设计元谋县羊街中学 丁洪春一.教学目标与评价设计课 题七年级新目标go for it unit6 its raining!section a 1a-1c对应的课标内容整个课时围绕天气展开听说读的活动,通过本课时的学习,使学生掌握基本词汇和对天气的描绘,学会表达不同天气的不同活动,使学生积极运用目标语言,并运用于实际生活。设计意图通过对单元内容的整合,让课程面向学生的实际生活,通过互联网搜索天气歌曲、天气预报等活动途径,让学生积极有效参与,为学生提供充分的自主学习和合作学习的环境,使学生在活动中相互影响,促进了语言实际和互联网的应用,同时关注学生情感,帮助他们树立自信,展现学生个性。教学目标知识与技能a 能掌握一些和天气有关的词汇和日常交际用语。b 使用现在进行时态,结合天气,谈论不同天气下人们所做的事情。c 训练学生实际应用语言和互联网的能力。d 训练学生用所学语言解决实际问题,第一课时中培养听说能力。情感、态度、价值观a鼓励学生通过互联网搜索天气预报,关心我们紧密联系的天气状况,以及如何在不同天气下如何应对,培养学生具有一定的环保意识、责任意识和关爱他人之心,达到人与自然的和谐。b 鼓励学生通过互联网搜索了解异域风情,了解其他国家同中国的气候差别,以及天气话题在英美和中国的文化差异。教学策略重 点、a 学习并掌握词汇:rainy,sunny等形容词的构成。b 熟练掌握现在进行时的用法。c 学会表达对不同天气的不同态度及原因。难 点学会描述人们在不同的天气里所做的各种活动。教法选择1 提问引入法:通过提问,集体,分组,分行回答,或学生逐个回答的形式开展教学,检查和巩固新旧知识。2 交际功能法:通过集体、分组、两人、个人操练等形式达到交际的目的学法引导a培养学生观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。b创造一种开放的,和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在乐中学。c通过连贯的听说读写,游戏,竞赛等,培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的思维能力。d通过任务型的教学,让学生学会自主学习,归纳总结,培养主动学习的能力,尤其对所学内容能主动复习并加以整理和归纳的能力。课程资源利用多媒体课件、教学挂图、录音机磁带、课前评价表、课后评价表、布置学生互联网搜索、看电视或打电话查询第二天的天气状况,并作好记录。课堂组织形式小组学习,合作学习课堂合作学习课堂合作学习,通过课前布置互联网搜索天气预报任务,课中学生以小组为单位制作天气标志,并向小组介绍自己所记录的全国的天气状况,然后在全班进行展示,班级选出最佳天气预报员。培养学生的参与意识和解决实际问题的能力,从而使之产生成就感。二教学过程设计教学内容教学活动设计意图教师活动学生活动step1.revision(6min)1. greet the class as usual;2.revisethepresent pro- grassiershow some pictures on the slide and ask questions like this:t: what are you doing?what is he doing?what is she doing?s: i am . he is .try to use the present progress- vet to answer teachers questions.this part is the revision of the key structure in unit5, and also is an extensive activity for the ss. during this part, the ss can think and say by themselves, they will be glad to use the knowledge they have learnt, and their creative power will be well trained.step2.warming up(6min)arrange two activities: (1min)1.sing a songsurf the internet and find the song on the computer. (2min)2.teach the new words:teacher show the students some pictures of the new words on the slide, then teach the new words. (2min)sing the song after the computer.the students read and learn the new words on the sly- de.make sure the students can get ready for class.this step is to form a better situation for the students by singing and speaking. they will come into the realsurrounding of english learn- ing, and it can also review the learnt knowledge for the next step and learn how to use the internet to study.step3presentation-on(8min)1. lead-in (4min)1).show ss the picture of a sunny day. ask them:t: how is the weather today?s: sunny.2).show other pictures to practice, and then write down the drills “how is the weather today?” and “whats the weather like today?” on the blackboard.2. practice (4min)1).show the ss some pictures of the cities and the weather. then let them ask and answer in pairs like this:t: how is the weather in beijing?s: its sunny.2).ask the ss to imagine they are in one of the places in the pictures. talk about the weather in pairs and then ask some pairs to practice it in class.think them over and answer the teachers questions.t: how is the weather today ?s: sunny.this step aims the students not only at creating expectations and arousing their interest in this text, but also getting ready for talking weather in pairs.step4practice(16min)1. section a 1a (2min)1).read the words and their chinese meanings.2).ask ss to match the wordswith the pictures (a-e), and check the answers.2. listening in 1b (4min)1).listen to the tape twice and ask ss to write these city names in the boxes in the pictures.2).check the answers.3.pairwork in 1c (2min)imagine they are in one of the places in the pictures in the ss book. talk about the weather.4.group work (8min)teacher surf the internet and find a weather report in china. after that ask them to do a report in four, the best one in group give a report in class. fine out the best weather reporter.read and grasp the new words.listen carefully and finish 1b.use the new sentence pattern to practice in pairs, they must work hard and help each other.work in four, make sure all of them can make a weather report in group. choose the best one to act it out in class.this part is very important of the lesson. the ss abilities of speaking and comma- inaction will be well trained. encourage the ss to comma- nicety with the others. they can say loudly and freely. they will feel happy and successful during this part. by way of communication, the ss will understanding the meaning of the structure better and master the knowledge firmly. it can also well embodied the emotions aims.step5exercise(6m)give ss some exercises to do in class and ask some ss to write on the bb, then check them.make sure all the ss can master the new sentence pattern after teaching and pr-acticing.step6sum up(2min)use the drills “how is the weather today?” and “whats the weather like today?” on the blackboard to review the key structure.step7homework(1min)1.make a survey of weather intianjin,hunan,xinjiang,yunnan.2.recide 1c(if necessary, different kinds of students may have different homework. that may be better for different kinds of ss to master th
