The description words about the weather.2.How to describe the weather.Teaching procedures:Step 1.Revision and Lead- in1.Ask the students to show their work:T: In the last unit, weve learned to talk about what people are doing . Now Ill invite three pairs to present their conversations of present progressive tense.2.Ask the students the question:How is the weather today?Step 2.Presentation1.Learn the new words.2.Get students to match the words with the pictures in 1a by looking at the picture .Then get one of them to show his or her answer.Step 3.ListeningListen and write these city names in the boxes above.Then check the answers.Step 4. Language Points Teacher explains the difficult points in this part.Step 5.Oral Practice1.Show some weather signs to the students.2.Ask students to do the CCTV Weather Report. Then get some pairs to act out theirs.3.Show some pictures of hazy weather ,then ask students the question:What do you think of them?Teacher summaries,and make the students know the importance of protecting environmentStep 6. SummaryIn this class, weve learned some description words about the weatherand how to describe the weather.We also reviewed the present progressive tense and knew the importance of protecting environment.Step 7.
