Unit1 A family outing1、 教材分析 (Teaching Material)本单元主要以家庭外出为话题。刚刚从寒假上来,这个话题非常地贴近学生的生活。在教学中可以创设多种情境,如家庭旅游、家族郊游等,促进学生的表达欲望,提升口语能力。2、 教学目标 (Teaching Aims)1、通过学习,能使用新句型新单词来谈论外出计划;2、在合作学习中,培养学生合作交流能力,鼓励学生多开口,敢于发言;3、通过学习,培养学生的口语发音与交际。三、教学重难点 (Important & Difficult Points)1、理解并运用新单词together, ride, grandparent;2、能运用句型 Shall we Well ;四、课时安排 (Periods Arrangement) 三到四个课时五、教具 (Teaching Aids)录音机、图片、卡片、CD、课件等等。Period 1一、教学目标 (Teaching Aims)1、知识目标(Knowledge Aims):1) 能看懂、会读新单词together, ride, grandparents;2) 学习、运用新句型:Shall we Well2、能力目标(Ability Aims): 1) 能向他人询问、回答出行计划;2) 能理解课本A与B部分。3、 情感目标 (Emotion Aims)学会小组合作,团结友爱。2、 教学重难点(Teaching Focus & Difficulties)1) 重点:理解并运用生单词;2) 难点:运用新句型。1) 课前准备(Preparation for Class)课件、图片、卡片、CAI等等。2) 教学过程 (Teaching Process)Step one: warming up1. He was 11 when he took this picture .We lived in a small village near a river .There was a bridge across the river.教师边说边在黑板上画简笔画,教学单词bridge,利用简笔画帮助学生理解across的含义(穿过)T :I was lovely and he was naughty .My math was better than his ,but his Chinese was better than mine .I like reading stories .Some stories are more interesting than others . 教师边说边板书课题:Unit 6 Some stories are more interesting than others .学生齐读课题后,教师引导学生理解课题的含义。T: His father was friendly butcher . one day ,he cut a piece of meat and gave it to a poor dog .The dog was happy .But after a while , its meat dropped into the river .Do you know why ?New words:better、 butcher 、 a piece of meat 、dropped 等,并引导学生猜测原因,培养学生的发散性思维能力,同时为本课的寓言故事埋下伏笔。2、listen and repeat.3、单词巩固Step 3 Fast reading and listening 1、出示教学挂图,让学生快速阅读课文A部分故事,回答问题2、教师引导学生回答问题。3、听课文A部分录音,模仿正确的语音、语调,从中掌握新词难句的正确读法。4、操练句型:“A is /are more than B”,教师让学生反复朗读句子:“That piece of meat is better than mine ”,并说出它的含义。然后教师引出并板书句型:“A is /are more than B”(A比B更)教师引导学生学会比较两事物的不同。如:This book is more expensive than that one .My dress is more beautiful than yours.Step 4 Intensive reading 学生反复自读课文,然后讨论完成课文C部分的练习,先口头后笔头,教师巡视指导。最后师生一起核对答案。Step 5 Consolidation 1、 教师出示课文挂图或提供课文的关键词,先师生复述一遍后,在让学生分组复述(注意提醒动词过去式的用法与读法)。2、 教师检测部分学生的复述情况,注意信息的反馈。3、课文延伸:教师运用本课的寓言故事,让学生明白做人不要过于贪心的道理。板书设计Unit 6 Some stories are more interesting than others.a piece of meat(一块肉) dropped (掉下) drop into (掉进) bridge(桥) better(更好的) lost (丢失)Sentence : 句型“A is /are more than B”,(A比B更)Period 2Teaching aims:1.Ss can be more confident in English studying.2.Ss can get the meaning of the story and understand the usage of the comparative degree in English.3.Ss can master the new words and new sentences patterns: be+ comparative degree of adjectives. Teaching methods:Task teaching method, Audio-linguistic method. Teaching tools:some pictures, word cards, the tape and the recorder ,computer are the tools. T: What is it in Picture One ? How do you think about it?Is it interesting? Which one is better ,Picture One or Picture Two?Ss answer and describe them.2.Learn to say new words: better, interesting, exciting.3.Learn to say new patterns: Be + comparative degree of adjectives. Swimming in the sea is more exciting than swimming in a pool. ( It is more exciting swimming in the sea than swimming in a pool.)Step 3 Practice1. Complete the sentences: more interesting ; more dangerous; more exciting.2. Listen to the tape and get the meaning of the story. Write down the sentences patterns of comparative degree.Step 4 Consolidation:1.Read the new words and sentences patterns.2.Make sentences about the comparative degree.Eg: It is more exciting riding a motorcycle than riding a scooter.
