Understand that rules is necessary.2. Talk about simple rules by Dont. After the class, the teacher should be able to:1.gain some experiences in teaching rules.2.tell the Ss some rules of yours.Lesson planStep 1 Greetings and Leading into topic Activity 1 Greetings: say hello to Ss and ask about their weekends to revise some activities they do. Activity 2 According to what they said, ask them: Do you play mobile phone games on weekends? Ss: Yes, we do. T: Can you play mobile phone games today? Ss: No, we cant. T: Why cant we? Ask one student to answer that because we are in school.(If no one mentioned to this, lead them to) T: Dont bring mobile phone to school. It is one of the school rules. We have many rules, and what else do you know? S: Listen to the opinions of SsStep 2 Pre-listening. Activity 3 Brainstorming. Encouraging Ss to think about rules as many as the Ss can. At the same time, T should write down some meaning units(phrases) on the blackboard. Activity 4 Read the meaning units for several times and ask some Ss to speak meanings in Chinese. Add “don ts” to the meaning unit. Practice the sentences. Ss read together twice.Step 3 While- Listening Activity 5 Introduce the settings of 1b to Ss Well, now three students are breaking rules. Theyre Peter, Amy and Mike. Lets see what rules are they breaking.Activity 6 Check answers. Peter -2 Amy-3 Mike-4Activity 7 To help Ss use the target language in natural speech. Before 1c, support Ss and enhance grammatical accuracy by demonstrating how to change the rules into sentences.Step 4 Work on 2a and 2b First, lets read the sentences in 2a together. T: Now, lets listen to the recording. Check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about. Ss listen to the recording and check the activities they hear.
