Whats the best present you have ever received?Difficulties and Focuses:1. How to make suggestions and give comments with target language.2. The use of the Present Perfect tense. Teaching Procedures:Step1. Lead-inT: Good morning, boys and girls. Today well give gifts for some people. So lets describe gifts with words theyve learned. (Teacher shows some gifts photos. Let students describe these gifts.) T: This is a scarf. It is my gift on my 18th birthday. I like it very much. Because I think it is very beautiful. Did you get birthday gifts? S: Yes, we got.T: Which kind of gifts do you have?S1: A hat. I think it is very beautiful.S2: I have a watch. I think it is very expensive.S3: I have a dictionary, I think it is very cheap.S4: I have a stuffed animal, I think it is very cute. S5: I have a CD, I think it is very boring.Let students describe their gifts. And learn some new words about gifts. At last let students make a survey to describe their gifts.
