Its about some weekend activities and the adverbs of frequency. 学生情况分析:Students may be interested in this topic ,because many students like weekend activities . Besides , students have learnt some of the adverbs of frequency ,they can understand the meaning of these frequency words easily.3.教学目标分析1. Learn and summarize the adverbs of frequency.(always ,usually ,often ,sometimes ,hardly ever ,never)2. Learn the sentence patterns of expressing the means of weekend activities.(What do you usually do on weekends? I usually)3. Guide students to learn teamwork and enjoy weekend activities.4.教学重点、难点分析教学重点:1. Learn and summarize the adverbs of frequency.2. Learn the sentence patterns of expressing the means of weekend activities.教学难点:How to use the adverbs of frequency correctly.5.教学过程设计Step 1: Lead-inBrainstorm. Ask students “What can we do on the weekend?” Let them speak out some weekend activities. The teacher can write them on the blackboard. Show them some pictures. Guide students to enjoy weekend activities. (Design purpose: From the brainstorm ,students may be interested in this topic , then they can face the difficulties of this lesson easily.)Step 2: Presentation1. Work on 1a.(1)Make a list of the weekend activities.(2)Practice in pairs using the information in 1a.eg:-What do you usually do on weekends?- I usually help with housework/read a newspaper/go shopping/do exercise/watch TV.Learn the new word :housework2.Listening(Work on 1b.)Before listeningLet students understand the meaning of these frequency words and get familiar with the weekend activities.always(100%)_usually_often_sometimes_hardly ever_never(0%)_While listening Ask students to listen and write the answers on the paper.After listening1.The teacher makes a summary of the content in 1b.For example: Now we know the first girl sometimes goes shopping on weekends and the first boy never goes shopping And write down the frequency words on the blackboard.2.Explain to the students the differences of the six frequency words by a diagram.Learn the new phrase :hardly ever.(Design purpose: To set the scene , increase students vocabulary and introduce the target language. To help students recognize the target language in natural speech. Learn and summarize the adverbs of frequency .Learn the sentence patterns of expressing the means of weekend activities.)Step 3: Consolidation (Work on 1c.)1. Practice the conversation in the picture above.A: What do you usually do on weekends?B: I usually watch TV.A: Do you go shopping?B: No, I never go shopping.2.Play a game. Use the frequency words to practice the conversations.)(Design purpose: Learn and summarize the adverbs of frequency .Learn the sentence patterns of expressing the means of weekend activities. Guide students to learn teamwork.)Step 4: Practice and summarize1. Sum up the adverbs of frequency and the sentence patterns of expressing the means of weekend activities.2. (According to the students level. )Help students to finish the Learning Plan or ask them to finish it after class.(Design purpose :To help students to summarize the adverbs of frequency. Guide students to learn teamwork and enjoy weekend activities.)Step 5: Project Make a report about the weekend activities that the parents do.(Design purpose : To help students review .)Blackboard DesignUnit 2 Section A help with housework go shoppingexercise read books watch TV always usually often sometimes hardly ever neverTeaching reflection:6.说课本单元是新目标英语系列教材Go for it! 八年级上册第二单元的内容。本单元围绕课余活动的话题设计不同层次的语言实践活动,教会学生谈论从事不同活动的次数。 Section A是这一内容的基础部分,需要三个课时才能完成。本节课是一节听说课,1a-1c部分侧重课余活动及常见频度副词的学习与训练。根据人教版教材编排,how often的操练是在第二课时2a中用听力匹配题导入;但仁爱版在七年级下册已经学过;只是差别在于仁爱版用seldom,而人教版用hardly ever。本节课中1a是复习操练weekend activities,1b导入这六个频度副词的用法,1c是1a和1b的整合。exercise ,weekend是仁爱版八年级上册第5页的生词,但这些词在人教版本节课之前已经学过。这节课的生词只有三个,housework, hardly ever。根据这一特殊性,在课堂中,加入了exercise ,weekend这两个词的讲解。本单元的话题是课余活动,这是与学生日常生活息息相关的,在探讨这一话题时,学生应该有话可说。另外,学生曾经学过大部分频度副词,本部分可对频度副词进行复习与拓展,系统归纳总结其用法。本节课的设计体现了任务型的教学特点,整节课任务的设计均以学生的兴趣为主,层层递进,符合学生的认知规律,整节课围绕课余活动展开,话题设计贴近学生生活。另外在教学过程中,引
