It makes us informed of daily news, lets us know the outside world, provides lessons for learners, and has brought joy and interest into peoples lives. So young people should learn to get rid of the bad influences of TV and learn to make use of the advantages that TV brings us.About TV Ads （关于电视广告）或 About Advertisement（关于广告） Today more and more advertisements are seen on the TV screen. Its difficult to find a program without ads on TV. Food, clothes - everything you can think of -are presented on television. Occasionally we can also see some public welfare ads, appealing to people to respect the old or to protect the environment. As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative. But there is no denying that some of them are tedious and not trustworthy. Therefore, I think it is really high time that the TV stations strengthened the control of advertisements and made them more attractive.Wealth and Health (财富和健康) Which is more important, wealth or health? Different people have different opinions. Some people prefer wealth, holding that money cant bring everything, but without it, one can do nothing. In order to get more money they can do anything. However, other people regard health as more important. Once health is lost, it is no use having a lot of money. As far as I am concerned, I love wealth, but I value health more. Everybody wants to live a happy life. So they try their best to earn money which they can ensure they lead a comfortable life, but if happiness and comfort are achieved at the cost of their health, how can they be happy? Without health money becomes meaningless. In my opinion, no one agrees that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. So, just do our best. And keep fit.My Favorite Sport (我最喜爱的运动) 或者 Sports Of all the sports, I like table-tennis best. I think it is not only a sport but also an art, because it is a game that needs strength and skill. Some people think that playing table-tennis needs little strength, but I dont think so. In playing table-tennis, we should judge the direction of the ball, and hit it back with great strength so that we can win the game. At the same time we need to pick up the ball which falls to the ground. So after one game you will be very tired if you have tried your best. Though I cant play it very well, I still show great interest in it. I think playing table-tennis can build our bodies, keep us healthy and train our brains. So I like it very much.On Money (关于钱) 或 Money is Not Everything （钱不是万能的） What is money? Someone says it is nothing while others say it is the most important thing in their lives and without it they cant live any longer. It said: money is not everything, but without it you cant do anything. In my opinion, it is right, but we should also hold a right attitude to it. You must hear a story that a rich man wants to find happiness, at last he found it in a poor mans life. Sometimes we think that the rich persons are the happiest ones in the world. However, it is not. The more money they have, the more morose they feel. In fact, without money, we can also have an interesting and exciting life. So having lots of money or less money is not the important thing, the important thing is weather we are happy or not.Private Cars in China (私人汽车在中国) 或者 Private Cars As time develops, there are many large changing happening in peoples lives. Being like Western countries, private cars begin to be very popular in our country. Certainly, there must be many things following with it. Maybe it is good for our society, or maybe it is harmful. Now, Id like to announce some not mature opinions. In our lives, especially in this century, time becomes more and more important. Buses seem to be more bulky than the private cars. We can go anywhere immediately in our own car. But, if you come to wait for a bus, it will take your much time, and its more likely to be no seats. In this hand, you must choose the convenient way to buy a private car for yourself.Changes in My Life （我生活中的变化） Honestly I havent thought about this much. The one and only great change I can think of now is leaving school. Look, after going to school for more than 16 years, all of my life has been so used to school, my daily schedule, my mindset, my social life, etc. The world outside the school seems so familiar and yet so strange. My feelings are mixed with ambition, hope, expectation, as well as uneasiness, insecurity and worries. It is such a difficult time. I am like a person lost in the no-mans land, not knowing where to turn. Anyway, most people have to face this change once they leave school. It is a total challenge. But just as one great mind has once said, “life is always full of changes and uncertainties; we just do all that we can and hope for the best.” The Way to success（通往成功的路）Everyone tries to achieve success in his/her career. But some finally attain their aims while others fail. Why? Some continue their cause to the end through long period of hard struggles, but others are easily disappointed and stop halfway.Strong will, perseverance and diligence are the three essentials of success. A man of strong will and perseverance always has an inflexible spirit. He sticks to his cause no matter how tough it might be. Life is short and we have too much to do. Without diligence no one can achieve anything.I believe that where there is a will there is a way, and that success belongs to those who can make constant efforts. Dont be afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.Plant More Trees （种更多的树）Trees are important resources. They provide us with wood, which is not only an important building material, but also indispensable in making paper, furniture, matches and many other useful things. Without trees, we would perhaps still be living in caves, and our life would be very miserable.Trees also do well to our environment. They not only make our world greener and more beautiful but also produce oxygen which makes the air we breathe fresher and better for our health. Whats more, trees help maintain ecological balance, which is very important to our survival.Fortunately, trees, unlike other resources, can be “reproduced”. While coal and oil can be burnt up and exhausted, trees will never be used up because we can always plant new ones. And when we plant trees, we know that we are helping make our world richer, pleasanter, and more beautiful to live in. So lets plant more trees. Smoking is Harmful （吸烟是有害的）It has been estimated that smokers have made up half of the population in China. And the smokers are becoming younger and younger, even including some middle school students.Nowadays more and more people have realized smoking can do harm to peoples health. However, some people still enjoy smoking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion; some think it is of great fun and some others think that smoking can refresh themselves.In fact, smoking is a bad habit. Public places are filled with all kinds of cheerful people. Children with lucky money in their new clothes have a delightful time playing games. The Chinese New Year lasts about a fortnight. It gives sufficient recreation to people.The Computer (计算机)Nowadays, computers are becoming more and more popular. Computers can help different people in different ways. They can help children with lessons and homework, help students and scholars do calculations, analyze data and present the latest achievements. Furthermore, they can assist engineers and experts in the design of a mold, a bridge or a spaceship. Besides, computers can offer fun and entertainment to us with the internet games, movies, etc. Indeed, computers have become a good companion of man.Is Stress a Bad Thing? （压力是坏事吗）或 On Stress（论压力）Is stress a bad thing? I dont think so. Each coin has two sides. Stress has good points as well as bad points. It can encourage people to work harder than ever before. Sometimes, some people will make great success under stress. Without stress, people will lose aims in life. Without stress, people will live an aimless life. They wont work hard or study hard. They will play computer games every day and never finish homework or their tasks.
