Unit 9 Can you come to my party?Section A (1a-1c) period1丰顺县丰良中学 卢跃一、教材分析Can you come to my party? 是新目标八年级上册第九单元的内容，以Invitation为核心话题。本节课是第一课时，内容为1a-1c部分,围绕重点句型：Can you come to my party? Sure, Id love to./ Sorry, I cant. I have to/Id love to, but I must来展开听、说、读、写等英语的综合运用学习。通过本课学习，让学生能够用英语得体地发出邀请、接受邀请或拒绝邀请。并培养学生合作能力，促进学生和谐相处。二、学情分析 本单元教材面对的是八年级学生.我班有55个学生，大部分学生对英语有兴趣，能基本上用英语表达简单的句子及意思。但相对来说基础不是很扎实，需要慢慢引导。通过本单元的学习引导学生谈论在日常生活中的邀请和应答，培养他们口语交际能力，加强听说能力的培养。并且学会在日常生活中做有礼貌的人。三、Teaching Aims 1. Knowledge Aims： (1) Learn how to make, accept and decline invitation. (2) Master the target language Can you come to my party? Sure, Id love /like to. Sorry, I cant. I have to2. Ability Aims: (1) Let students learn how to use correct sentences to make, accept and decline invitations and give reasons.(2) Make students develop their abilities of working in pairs and communication by learning useful strutures.(3) Train students listening and speaking skill.3. Teaching Difficult Points Enable students use correct sentences to make, accept and decline invitations and give reasons correctly.五、Teaching Tools: Multi-media六、Teaching ProceduresStep1: Warming-up (1) Greet the whole class as usual(2) Free talk “Can you .?”( dance/sing)(3) Sing a birthday song设计意图：师生彼此之间问候，用“Can you?”自由谈论，设置以我的生日情景导入生日歌曲，营造良好的学习氛围，学生们为我唱生日歌歌曲，寓教于乐，轻松自然，这样便容易投入到学习当中。Step2: Lead-in Show a picture , Then ask students to guess: “What am I going to do this evening?”设计意图：呈现图片，让学生们猜，激发学生们的兴趣，自然地导入话题。Step3: Presentation （1）Show how to make invitation, accept invitation and decline invitation. Eg. Can you come to my party? Sure, Id love/ like to. Sorry, I cant . I have to do my homework.(2) read them and pratice the target language. (3)Learn the key phrases, Then ask students by using “Can you come to my party?” and students answer .(4) Play a game.( When the disk turns, Teacher says: “stop”, students shoud stand up quickly and say out the phrase.(5) work on 1a设计意图：通过PPT呈现如何发出邀请，接受邀请和拒绝邀请的目标语言。然后在简单清楚的图片的帮助下，让学生自然而然的能够说出词组，并且利用词组练习目标语言，加强巩固接受和拒绝别人的目标语言。同时，学生看大屏幕上的转盘游戏，根据转盘所停止位置来说出短语，再次巩固了重要短语，又活跃了课堂气氛。Step 4: Listening(1)Listen to 1b ,then finish it.(2)Listen again and fill in the blanks.设计意图：在训练熟练的基础上再做听力,既能起到再次训练和巩固的作用,有能让学生体验到成功的喜悦,提高学习兴趣和听力。在图片的配合下进行听力能力的训练,完成1b;第二次听，完成设计的空格,充分发挥学生的听力潜能，又巩固了目标语言和重要短语。 Step5 :Pairwork Ask and answer by showing sentence pattern and some pictures.A: Can you (with me )?B: Sure, Id love /like to.
