Hes of medium/build. What does he look like? She has long straight hair. Is he tall or short?2. 过程与方法: 1)能熟练的用英语进行对人外表特点的描述,并根据描述画出人像。 2)能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用,用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表,提高写作水平。3.情感态度与价值观: 让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。【教学重、难点】 1. 掌握单词,熟练掌握描述人的形象的句型。 2. 掌握描述人的形象的句型。【教学过程】Step1. Greetings T: Good morning, class. Ss: Good morning, teacher. T: Whats the weather like today? Ss: Its Step2. Lead-in1)T: Show a picture of a person and ask: “ whats this/that?”. Ss: T: 引出身体部位单词:head, eyes, nose, mouth, leg, foot, ear, hand, face, hair, arm, back. (Read them together and then have a check, 指着身体的部位,学生快速说出该部位的英文)2)Talk about your familyQ1: How many people are there in your family?Q2: Who are they?Q3: Is your father tall/ short/ thin/ heavy?Ss: T: OK, today we will learn how to describe others. Unit 9: What does she look like? (Read the title together)Step3. Presentation 1) T: Look at theses three people. They are Xiao Dong,Xiao Xin and Xiao Ming.Height: T: What does Xiao Dong look like? Ss: He is short. T: What does Xiao Ming look like? Ss: He is tall. T: What does Xiao Xin look like? Ss: He is of medium height.Read it like this: Xiao Dong is short, Xiao Ming is Tall and Xiao Xin is of medium height.Build: 相类似地引出:Xiao Ding is heavy, Xiao Ming is thin and Xiao Xin is of medium build.巩固:T: What does he look like? Ss: (answer the question according to the PPt)Hair: T: What does she look like? Yang Mi: She has short hair. She has curly hair. She has short curly hair. Fan Bingbing: She has long hair. She has straight hair. She has long straight hair. Liu Yifei: She has long curly hair. Sun Li: She has short straight hair. Guo Donglin: He is bald.整体:T: What do they look like?
