Unit one My new teacher教学目标:1、能听说认读,并理解本课的五个新单词:young old kind funny strong2、能掌握句型Whos your ?Whats he /she like ?并能在具体的语境中运用。3、培养学生热爱、尊敬老师的情感。重点:学生学会运用基本句型,并结合这些句子表达的情境,学会恰当应用 old,short,thin,tall,strong。等单词来描述人物特点。难点:运用所对话情景,让学生进入学习状态。并学会运用所学的形容词描述人物。教学过程:Step1 Lead-in T: We have many teachers, right? Whos your Chinese teacher? Ss: Miss WangT: Whats he like?Ss: He is thin.T: Who is your Math teacher?Ss: Mr. Li学生描述之后导出kind,让学生描述who is kind in your school?Practice: Myteacher is kind. is kind.Step2 Make a new chant My grandpa is old. My mother is young.My father is tall. My litter brother is short.My uncle is strong. My aunt is thin.They are all very kind. And I am kind, too.Step3 Describe the pictures.Ask and answer: Who is this? She is / He is What is she/ he like? Whats he like? 并能在情景中进行运用;3、能听懂Lets chant.的歌谣,并按照节奏来念;4、能运用上节课的词汇进行Pair work巩固练习;5、能在教师的指导下完成Read and write。重点:能在情景中运用句型:Whos ? Hes from. Whats he like?难点:掌握本课的重点单词及词组:principal, university student, strict, smart, active教学过程:Step1:Lead-in练习pair work内容,巩固本单元新句型:Whats he/she like? 和Part A所学形容词young/funny/heavy/kind/old/short/thin以及职业名词English teacher/Art teacher/Science teacher等, 以作适当补充和扩展。Step2:用图片展示校务会议场景。认识出席的各科教师,运用Pair work 中的对话形式:Whos that man/woman? Hes/Shes . Whats he/she like? He/She is .然后引到(严肃的)Principal. T: Whos that man? 引出新词principal,带读。展示(微笑的)principal 和带着一个博士帽的university student 的合影,以清华大学为背景,用纸遮住university student 的头,让学生猜principal边上的谁,在猜的过程中可复习一些人物称谓的单词。如son/brother/friend/student等,引出新词university student带讲读,最后比较两幅图上principal的不同表情。T: Is she kind? Is she strict? 引出新词strict。Step3: Group work根据对话,师生回答: Whos that young lady? Is she pretty/strict/kind? 然后小组竞赛,分角色朗读。Step4: Consolidation1、让学生听Read and write.部分的对话。2、以小组为单位自学对话。3、让学生完成文后练习。Step5: HomeworkFinish the following exercises.练习:一、翻译下列单词1.年轻的_ 2.滑稽可笑的_ 3. 高的_4.强壮_ 5. 和蔼的_ 6. 年老的_7.矮的_ 8. 瘦的_ 9. 先生 _10.是什么_ 11.像;喜欢_ 12.严格的_13.聪明的_ 14.积极的_ 15.安静的_16.很;非常_ 17. 但是_ 18. 校长_19.大学生_ 20. 是谁_ 21. 他是_22. 她是_二、翻译下列句子 1.谁是你的英语老师?_卡特先生。_2.他长得怎么样?_他又高又壮。_3.她文静吗?_不,她不是。她非常活跃。_4.她严格吗?_是的,她是。但她很和蔼。_三、填上适当的单词使句子完整通顺。1 A: _ is the girl ?
