Unit one My new teacher教学目标：1、能听说认读，并理解本课的五个新单词：young old kind funny strong2、能掌握句型Whos your ?Whats he /she like ?并能在具体的语境中运用。3、培养学生热爱、尊敬老师的情感。重点：学生学会运用基本句型，并结合这些句子表达的情境，学会恰当应用 old，short，thin，tall，strong。等单词来描述人物特点。难点：运用所对话情景，让学生进入学习状态。并学会运用所学的形容词描述人物。教学过程：Step1 Lead-in T: We have many teachers, right? Whats he like? 并能在情景中进行运用；3、能听懂Lets chant.的歌谣，并按照节奏来念；4、能运用上节课的词汇进行Pair work巩固练习；5、能在教师的指导下完成Read and write。重点：能在情景中运用句型：Whos ? Hes from. Whats he like?难点：掌握本课的重点单词及词组：principal, university student, strict, smart, active教学过程：Step1：Lead-in练习pair work内容，巩固本单元新句型：Whats he/she like? 和Part A所学形容词young/funny/heavy/kind/old/short/thin以及职业名词English teacher/Art teacher/Science teacher等, 以作适当补充和扩展。Step2:用图片展示校务会议场景。认识出席的各科教师，运用Pair work 中的对话形式：Whos that man/woman? Hes/Shes . Whats he/she like? He/She is .然后引到（严肃的）Principal. T: Whos that man? 引出新词principal，带读。展示（微笑的）principal 和带着一个博士帽的university student 的合影，以清华大学为背景，用纸遮住university student 的头，让学生猜principal边上的谁，在猜的过程中可复习一些人物称谓的单词。如son/brother/friend/student等，引出新词university student带讲读，最后比较两幅图上principal的不同表情。T: Is she kind? Is she strict? 引出新词strict。Step3: Group work根据对话，师生回答: Whos that young lady?
