Period 4Section B(1a-1d)本课分析:本课是一节听说课,本课是本单元的第三课时,将规章制度出现的场所有Section A的学校场景转到家庭场景。在语言技能层面,Section B在强化训练听说能力的基础上偏重读写能力的训练和发展;在语言知识方面,除继续深化学习Section A所学句型结构外,词汇的滚动复现及学习也是Section B的重要内容,在整个单元中起着强化新知,巩固学习的作用。教学目标:1. 通过本课学习,学生能掌握本课重点词汇:out, go out, do the dishes, practice, bring, important, night, before。并能初步口头运用以下句型:I cant go out on the school nights. I must practice the guitar. I have to help my mom make breakfast every morning。并能运用目标语言谈论家规校规。2. 通过本课学习,学生能基本听懂含有本课重点词汇和目标语言的听力材料。初步了解听前预测的技巧,并在听的过程中做到有目的地获取有效信息。3. 通过本课学习,学生能提高遵守家庭规则、学校规则的意识。通过语言练习提高语言交际能力和生活交往能力。教学重难点:重点:1. 重点词汇:out, go out, dish, do the dishes, practice, bring, important, night, before.2. 重点句型:I cant go out on school nights.(see friends/do homework/practice the guitar/watch TV/do the dishes)3. 语言结构:祈使句和情态动词can表示许可的用法。难点:1. 用英语讨论有关规定。2. 情态动词must和have to的用法。教学方法:任务型教学法教学流程:Step1. Lead-in Talk about school rules.T: What can we do at school?S: We canT;What cant we do?S: We cantT: Just now we talked about the rules of the school. Do you know the rules of the family?(设计意图:复习已知,温故知新,铺垫课堂)Step2. Presentation1. First, look at the boy in the picture. What is he doing? Please talk with your desk mate and match the pictures with the rules.Then invite some students to answer. Later, check the answer.2. Teach the rules: do the dishes, go out, help mother make dinnerMake sure the students can read them out fluently.(设计意图:通过图片导入新词汇,为接下来的听力练习做铺垫。)Step3. Listening Before listeningLook at the rules of Daves family.Let students read the rules together.While listeningListen for the first time. The students just listen.Listen for the second time. The students needs to listen carefully, and fill in the chart in 1b with for things Dave cant do and for things he has to do. The third time, ask them to fill in the right column in the chart with the phrases in the box in 1c.Then check the answers together.Play the tape once more for students to listen and repeat.Step4. Pair work1.Now I hope you can talk about the rules in Daves family. What can and cant he do? What does he have to do? Work with your partner.Please practice the conversations in pairs. Now look at the chart. Can Dave go out on school nights? No, he cant. Does Dave have to do his homework after school?
