Unit 5 why do you like pandas?(1a-2d)教学设计贾 城 西中学刘 娟Unit 5 why do you like pandas?(1a-1d)教学设计教学目标1.知识目标:(1)掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词。(2)掌握why引导的特殊疑问句的问与答。( 3 ) 能够利用所学知识描述自己喜欢的动物特征生活环境2.能力目标:学会描述动物和表达喜好。3、情感态度价值观目标:(1)通过对动物的描述,培养学生热爱自然,保护动物与动物成为好朋友的意识。(2)通过对本单元的任务型小组活动,培养学生互相帮助、团结合作的学习习惯,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情;通过组与组之间的竞争,培养了学生的竞争意识和上进心。教学重、难点重点:表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词。难点:学会用why提问原因,用because表达。教学过程:lead in The teacher shows the class a piece of video and ask some questions about animals: Do you know other animals? Lets go to the zoo. There are many kinds of animals in it. What animals can you see? . Presentation 1. Then show the class some pictures of animals and present other animal-s. And ask them: Whats this in English? Its a lion. (Then elephant, koala, tiger,giraffe) and learn the words of description the animals(scary,strong,lazy,cute,friendly,Australia,South Africa)2. Show the picture to review these words.3. Next, ask students turn to page 25 and finish 1a. 4. Check the answers with the class. 5.A guessing game . Listening Work on 1b. Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class. . Pair work 1. Ask the students to imagine “We are in the zoo, there are many kinds of animals here.”Then ask a student to do the model with you: 2. Ss work with their partners practice the conversation using the animalin 1a. Conversation1Girl:Lets see the_pandas_ first.Theyre my_favorite_ animals.Boy:Why?Girls:Because theyre very_cute_.Conversation2Boy:Lets see the _giraffes_.Girl:Why do you want to see them?Boy:Because theyre _beautiful_.Conversation3Girl:Lets see the_koalas_now.I like koalas.Boy:Why? Girl: Because theyre interesting.Listening 1. Work on 2a; 2. 1)Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. 2)Play the recording a second time. This time students write in the names of the animals. Check the answers. 3)Play the recording and have students match each animal with an adjective and a country. Correct the answers. 2. Work on 2b Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the answers. Check the answers with the class. 3.
