Unit7 Its raining! Section B (1a-1e)教案一教学目标:1. 知识目标:( Knowledge Objects)1.) 掌握下列词汇:hot , cold, cool, warm, humid 2.)描述并谈论天气,进一步学习现在进行时。 2. 能力目标:(Ability Objects)能够听懂录音中的对话,并能分角色进行扮演,能够很好的完成group work3. 情感目标:( Moral Objects)通过课堂活动使学生对英语学习产生兴趣;让学生敢于、乐于开口,积极参与交流。并让学生在学习的过程中,培养学生的合作意识和竞争意识。二、教学重点难点教学重点:1.掌握词汇及短语:dry, cold, warm, cool, hot, sound like, not bad 2.学会:“学习询问某人的近况或事情的进展 ”表达方式及回答 A: HowS it going? B: Great/Pretty good/Just so-so/Not bad/Terrible/Bad.教学难点: 1.词汇:dry, cold, warm, cool, hot, 2.重点句型:A: what are you doing?B: I am reading a book/ watching TV.A: How is the weather inB:Its sunny/raining/snowing/cloudyA: Hows it going? B: Great/Pretty good/Just so-so/Not bad/Terrible.三学情分析: 学生基础知识比较薄弱,对学习英语没有兴趣,听、说、读、写这几方面都存在一定的问题。不愿意张嘴说英语,单词书写错误率较高。因此在知识的输入上不宜教的太多,知识拓展也要适度,以免学生产生惧怕心里,通过引导逐步添加知识,用生动的画面吸引学生,培养学生兴趣,从而产生学习的愿望,激发学生的积极性.四教学过程 Step1Greating and reviews 通过问候和交流展示出四个知识点1)描述天气的词汇sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy, 2) Hows the weather? Its. 3)What are you doing ? We are . 4)Hows it going? Step 2 Presentation 1Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words:Spring, summer, autumn, winter, hot,cold, cool, warm, humid, dry等。2Students learn the new words and expressions and try to understand them.3Give students some time to remember the new words and expressions. Step 3 Matching1Read the words in the box in 1a. Then look at the pictures. Match the words with the pictures.2Check the answers. (More key points: d a e b c)Step 4 Pair work1b. 1Look at the pictures in 1a. Ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a. Give an example to the students:T: Hows the weather in Picture a-d?S1: Its dry . ( hot/cold/cool/warm/humid/dry )2Now work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a. 3Ask some pairs to role play their conversations.4. Group work Make a conversation 如 -Which season do you like best?-I like best.-Why do you like ?-Because its warm and(每组四人,仿照例句做对话,让学生展示,选出最好的一组) Step 4 Listening:Work on 1c.1Read the chart in 1c. 2Play the tape for the students to listen and write what Mary and Eric answer to Hows it going. 3Play the recording twice. The first time students only listen. For the second time, students listen and write down the words in the blank.Work on 1d.1Listen again. What does Eric answer to what are you doing & Hows the weather. 2Play the recording twice. The first time students only listen. For the second time, students listen and write down the words in the table. 3Check the answers. Step 5 Pair workWork on 1e.Role play a conversation between Mary and Eric.Mary: Hi! Hows it going?Eric: Hello Oh, not too bad! What are you doing?Mary: Im having a party. My family is here. Eric: Sounds like fun. Hows the weather? Mary: Terrible. Its cold and raining. Hows the weather in Mexico? Eric: Hot. Hot and dry. And sunny. Mary: Sounds good. So what are you doing? Eric: Im visiting my grandmother(要求:学生看大屏幕的听力原稿,两个人一组,互相朗读。搭档之间设计一个对话,描述天气情况和他们的活动。模仿听力原稿内容可以根据需要做任何变动。检查:完成的同学朗读出来,然后贴在黑板上,评出最富有创新的一组搭档,下课后全班同学投.Step 6 Practice;一、根据要求填空并翻译下列短语。 1. hot (反义词) _ 2. cool (反义词) _ 3. wet (反义词) _ 二、用所给词的适当形式填空;1.
