About the students Junior One students have learned some words about the body parts, for example face, nose, ears, mouth, eyes, hair, leg, arm, and they also know some adjectives and phrases about how to describe people, such as tall, short, long hair, short hair, thin, fat, big eyes, long legs. Besides, students can use the simple present tense.II. About the text In this section, students have to learn the ways to ask about peoples appearance and know how to describe it. Students need to master the following words and phrases: short hair, curly hair, long hair, straight hair, tall, short, medium height, thin, heavy, medium build, and learn when to use “is” and “has” properly.III. Teaching Objectives:1. Students can master the following words and phrases: curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, glasses, nose, blonde, mouth, round, face, eye, be of medium height, be of medium build2. Students are able to use the following sentence patterns: What does he look like? What does she look like?Hes tall/short/thin/heavy. He is of medium build/height.She has long curly hair.3. Students learn when to use “is” and “has” properly. 4. Students learn how to describe people properly.5. Students can appreciate the real beauty, and understand a beautiful heart is more important than a beautiful face. IV.
