Free talk:T: Look at them, whos taller? S2: Cao Hui is taller.T: Excuse me, can you tell me the way to Mingdao Primary School?S3: Go along this street, and then you can take bus No.102.T: Thank you very much.S3: Youre welcome.【设计意图】通过师生间的自由对话,创设一种轻松自由的教学氛围,从而消除学生的紧张情绪,更快地融入学习的氛围中去。3. Sing a song.I wish I was taller.(T: Do more exercise, I think youll get taller and stronger.)【设计意图】通过演唱第一课的歌曲,既活跃了课堂气氛,又复习了第一课的句型。二、合作交流,复习回顾1. Look and sayT: Look at these pictures, and tell us what the differences are.S1: The boy is taller than the girl. T: Good.S2: The cat runs faster than the dog. T: Very good.【设计意图】看几幅图中让学生表达出它们之间的不同,在不知不觉中操练了前两课的句型结构,而且避免了反复操练句型的生硬。T: Who jumps higher, her or me?S1: You jump higher than her.T: Does she run faster than me?S2: Yes, she does.T: Oh , I run slower than her.【设计意图】通做动作,让学生对两者之间的不同一目了然,又能增加活动的趣味性。三、巩固检测,提升深化Task 1 Read the words and imitate.教师提供一、二两课的原级及比较级,让学生用开火车的方式跟同学作比较造句。S1: Im older than Deng Hou Ming.S2: Han Jia Bing is older than me, but Im taller than Xu Gui Ming.S3: Deng Hou Ming is taller than me, but I run faster than Zhu Jian.S4: Xu Gui Ming runs faster than me, but I jump higher than Liu Ying.S5: Zhu Jian jumps higher than me, but Im fatter than Zhu Liu Qian.S6: Liu Ying is fatter than me, but I skate better than Cui Heng Qing.【设计意图】让学生根据实际情况自由挑选原级或比较级与同学作比较并造句,让学生学会观察并熟练运用所学句型。Task 2: Can you tell us the rules?小提示:形容词或副词的比较级有4种形式:(1)直接加er或r (2)双写末尾字母加er(3)改y为i加er (4)不规则变化。(师生共同总结规律,并适时板书)Task 3: Make sentences with the drills and the useful words.S1: The pig is fatter than the dog.S2: Yang Ling skates better than Nancy.1 挂图出示图1,师生共同讨论,说出答案。T: Picture 1, you two please.S1: Is Wang Bing as tall as Liu Tao?S2: Yes, he is.S1: Is Liu Tao as tall as Mike?S2: No. Mike is taller than Liu Tao.T: Now, Picture 2.S3: Does Wang Bing go to school earlier than you, Ben?S4: No, he doesnt.S3: Who goes to school earlier, you or David?S4: David goes to school earlier than me.T: Picture3, who would like to read?S5S6: Me.S5: Can I help you?S6: Yes, Id like a skirt for my daughter.S5: How about this red one?S6: Its pretty, but its too big.
