Unit 6 Im watching TV.(Section B 2a-2c) Period 5By Song Junjun.教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: host, study, state, the United States, American, dragon, young, race, say, other, children, miss, wish, delicious。 2) 能掌握以下句型: What time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning. Its 9:00 a.m. and Zhu Huis family are at home. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his moms delicious zongzi. 2. 情感态度价值观目标:培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。了解中西方文化的不同,具有世界观念,了解其他国家的文化。.教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课出现的生词及表达方式。2) 进一步练习运用现在进行时态的句子来描述他人在做的事情。3) 通过听、说、读的练习,培养和提高学生的阅读能力。2. 教学难点: 阅读短文,获得相关信息,完成相关任务。.Teaching procedures: (Ask the students to read all the words in this part on page 35 before class.)Step. Warming- upFirst greet the Ss, and talk about pictures and time. Ask and answer questions like the one in activity 2a. Show the time in different places and give Ss an example.A: What time is it in Beijing?B: Its eight oclock in the morning.Let Ss ask and answer about the pictures in pairs.(If necessary, give some help to the Ss.) Step .Lead-inHave a brainstorm about traditional Chinese festivals ,then lead in the Dragon Boat Festival. Show some photos about Dragon Boat Festival and zongzi. Let some Ss tell something they know about the customs of this festival. (Arouse the students interests and communicate,get them ready to learn new materials.)Step III Presentation1. Fast Reading Ask students to read the TV report quickly and answer the questions. Why are Zhu Huis family watching boat races and making zongzi? Does Zhu Hui like his host family? What does he think about his home in China? Then ask the students to pay attention to the TV report again. Check the answers with the class2. Careful ReadingAsk the students to read the TV report again and underline the sentences using the present continuous tense. What are these people doing now? Then fill in the chart below. Ask the students to find out the meaning of any words you dont know. If there are any words you dont know, you can look them up in your dictionary and ask your classmates for help. Answer any questions students may have about the TV report.1.Introduce Zhu Hui. 2. Present some new words and expressions in the article. Step Work on 2c Ask the students to finish Activity 2c. Now lets look at the chart in 2c. You should match the verbs in column A with the words in column B. Then use the phrase to write sentences according to the TV report. Make sure Ss know what to do. Ask the students to do the match work first, then check up the sentences.Help the students to improve their speaking ability and also develop their ability of communicating with others.Step. ExercisesGuide the students to work in groups to do exercises and learn the report. they can help each other and learn from each other. Help the students if they have questions.Read and repeat the report. Now read aloud the sentences. Then write down the sentence structure in your exercise-books. Listen to the article and read after the tape. Help them to get good pronunciation and intonation.Step .RetellingRetell according to the chart. Move around the room, checking their progress and offering help if they need. And then ask some pairs to present their statements to the class. Step Summary &HomeworkAsk Ss to sum up what the Ss have learned and assign Homework.Help the students to form good learning habits and to improve writing skills.Help them to learn from doing .1. What about his home in China?ShenzhenNew Yorktimethe mother the father Zhuhui Reaching Reflection: 今天早上第二节课我执教了Unit 6 Im watching TV.第五课时 Section B (2a-2c),通过创设情景,把学生引入到生活中的场景,我们旅游时住的酒店前台挂的各地时钟,让学生一问一答练习对话,目的是让学生认识时差,给后面讲reading做好铺垫,接下来通过看、听、读,设置问题,通过精泛读,启发学生,强迫学生慢慢的按照老师的思路说下去形成一篇完整的reading,让学生感知这篇TV report,最后完成活动2c及练习题,整堂课比较成功,收到了预期的效果,但是也有一些不尽人意的地方。1.备课时还是忽略了学生,现在倡导的新课改理念,要求以学生为主体,学生才是课堂的真正主人,但是没有经过精心打磨,学生回答的问题千奇百怪,老师简单的对一下标准答案也未对学生做出任何评价,这样老师以自己的思想束缚学生恐怕有些不妙。2.课件中引入Dragon Boat Festival时,课件中没有插入视频,而是关掉PPT,在文件夹中播放视频,另外后面在呈现问题时没有体现层次感,而是问题一出,下面就立即显示答案,这点也不好,可能留给学生思考问题的时间也不多。3.时间把握上有点问题,致使结尾时显得有些仓促。4.个别口语运用不规范。5.情感态度价值观渗透的不
