Warming-up and lead in T: Do you have a pet at your home ?S1,-, s2, - T: Good , Today well learn many animals .First ,Ill show you a video , after watching it , you only tell me how many animals do you see ?(-)(S1-, S2-)T:Yes ,There are seven animals in the video .Can you guess the meaning of “animal “?S1:动物。T:Yes , very clever. (Then teach students the new word “animal”.Step II New words (1) the animal words : zoo , panda , tiger , lion , giraffe , cat , elephant , - (2) some description words: cute , beautiful , smart , interesting , scary , -Step III Activity 1a T: Now please open your books turn to page 25,please finish activity 1a .(check answers )T: Now lets visit the zoo . In the picture , the boy and the girl are talking about the animals .Ill ask a student to read the conversation . Step IV Listening T: Now please listen to three conversations ,then check the animals you hear in 1a. (Check the answers )Step V Practice T: Now lets go to visit the zoo , please make new conversations with your pair .talk about : which animal do you want to see first ? why ?( use ppt show several pictures to help students . ) Step VI Match :each group has one chance to choose one of the questions to answer.
