Greetings.3. Lets chant.Summer, summer, what can you do? I can swim in the lake.Spring, spring, what can you do?I can plant flowers and trees.Fall, fall, what can you do?I can pick apples.Winter, winter, what can you do?I can skate and ski.3. Free talk.T: I love spring. Because I can watch many flowers.S: My favourite season is ?T: Why do you like ?S: Because I can .Then let the students ask their friends by themselves.But what about Mike? Hes from Canada. What about the weather in Canada?Step2. Pre-reading1. Listen, watch and answer the question:How many seasons are there in Canada?2. Listen to the recorder again and tick()or cross ().1. In Canada,it often rains in summer。 ( )2. In spring, it is hard to plant flowers in the rain. ( )Step3. While-reading1.Read the text , circle the words and phrases you dont understand or you cant read, then ask. Then let the students help the students to solve the problems.2. Read the text fast and underline the words about the weather in four seasons. The text doesnt tell us the weather about fall. Let the students guess what the weather is like in fall. 3. Skip the text, discuss and circle the activities about Mike in four seasons in groups of four. Then I will ask one student of a group to show.4. Read the text after the recorder. Then read after the teacher. Especially, read the long sentences more times.5. Free reading. Read by themselves.Step4. Post-reading1. Fill in the blanks. Im Mike. Im from Canada. I love four seasons.
