Organization of the class. 2. Review the conversation on page 87. (Work in pairs.) 3. Game: A chain talk. eg. A: Can you tell me what you can do and cannot do?B: I can sing but I cant sing well. Can you tell me what you can do and cannot do?C: I can dance well but I cant swim. (Ask the students to say it one by one.)Step 2 Lead-in 1. Write a recommendation letter (Part B)(1) Read the notes together. Explain the notes and some key aspects about how to write a recommendation letter.(2) Ask the students to plan the things they want to say about their chosen person as outlined in Part B1. (3) Complete the letter. ( Each group writes one paragraph. )(4) Invite some groups to read out their part of the recommendation letter.Step 5 : Checkout 1. Competition: (Part B) (1) Ask each group to fill in the crossword puzzle as quickly as possible. (2) Ask the first group to finish the puzzle to present the answers and give them applause if correct. 2. Free talk:Ask the students to practise the six adjectives to make dialogues: eg.
