Ability objects:1)Train students listening skill.2)Train students communicative competence using the key vocabulary and the target language.3. Moral Objects:Love the motherland; love your hometown. Enjoy the beauty of the nature.II. Teaching key points:The names of the entertainment places referred in this unit. Sentence structures: Have you ever been to? Has he/she ever been to?III. Teaching Difficult Points:The difference between “have/has been to.”and “have/has gone to”IV. Teaching methods:1. Task-based learning(survey/guessing game/interview)2. Listening 3. Pair workV. Teaching Procedures:Section A教师活动学生活动设计意图Step1 Warming upT: I like traveling because there are many places of interest in our country. By traveling I can get happy and open up my eyes. How about you? Do you like traveling, class?Watch a video.利用视频激发学生兴趣。Step2 Presentation1. Teach the names of the places for entertainment by presenting 5 pictures. Then present the sentence structure: Have you ever been to ? Get individual student to answer.2. Memory game: Look at the pictures then quickly say the names of the places for entertainment.T(answer): Yes, I have./ No, I haventLook, listen, read and answer.Look, say and ask.S: Have you ever been to?利用图片呈现新知,激发学生求知欲。训练学生的观察能力和识记单词能力。Step3 Pair workShow some pictures and get the Ss to ask and answer in pairs.Practice in pairs.即学即练Step4 Guessing gameT: This is my Husband. He traveled to some big cities. Do you know where he has been? Look at the map of China and try to find out the six cities he has ever been to. If you are right, you can get a surprise gift.Find out the right places by asking the teacher questions.拓展新知。以游戏形式唤起学生练习英语口语的热情。Step5 1b listening practiceT: Look at the picture. We can see two girls. They are Claudia and Sara. They are talking about some interesting places. Have they ever been to these places? Listen to the conversation and check the boxes. Listen and answer.训练学生听力。Step6 Survey and report T: Ask your partners if they have ever been to these places.
