To encourage students to be brave, honest, kind people.(二）Teaching difficulties and key points:Describe people and objects with the comparative degrees.（3） Teaching processStep1:Lead-in (1) Greetings.（拉近与学生的距离，减少学生的紧张感。）(2) T:I have a sister.Can you guess what she looks like?S1：Does she have big eyes?S2:Is she tall?S3:Is she beautiful?S4：Does she have long hair?S5:Is she fat?(设计此环节，让学生用学过的形容词描绘别人，通过猜我妹妹外表的方式极大地调动了学生的好奇心和用英语表达的兴趣，为后面的新课学习做好铺垫。）Step2:New words（read and repeat）both,loudly,serious,better,outgoing,quietly.（此环节，首先老师带读学生跟读，便于学生模仿语音语调。其次，通过分组朗读，男女交叉朗读，便于培养学生的竞争意识，同时能调动他们学习英语的积极性。）Step3:comparative degrees比较级构成（教材114页）窗体顶端summarize the comparatives.
