I am Nana, your new teacher. Warmer: T: Before the class, lets enjoy a song first. If you can sing, follow it. T-S2Lead in1) Look and findShow the words to students. Conduct students to find the similarities including the spelling and sound.2) Point out todays topic.Presentation1) Show the picture of Nana.Guess who it is and then let students focus on how I spend my day.2) At schoola. Show picture of having class and ask the students the question “what do you do at school?-I have a class”Use this sentence pattern to guide the word classb. Demonstrate how to blend the word class.c. Let students use the word in sentences.d. Use the same way to teach other seven words, clock, clean, clever, plate, eggplant, please, play.3) At homea. Watch the video and let students have a general idea about the four words with pl.b. Show the picture and demonstrate how to blend it.c. Let students use the words in sentences.During learning the eight words, check their understanding by reading it one by one or group by group.
