Lead in Play the song our school. Ask students to listen carefully. After listening, ask them what the song sings (Our School). Step. Presentation Lets learn 1.Learn the new words about the places of school: teachers office, library. AShow a school picture, ask students to take a look at it. Then, show a picture of teachersoffice, ask what it is (教师办公室),lead them to speak in English: teachersoffice . Then lead them to read it. B.Use the same way to lead students to learn the word :library. ask students to pay attention to the pronunciation of library, lead them to read more times. C.Lead students to read the two new words, then ask them to read each words three times together. D.Play the another cartoon to let students see. E. Activity: Whats missing? Use PPT to show two pictures of the school places, then take one of them, ask students Whats missing?, repeat the activity by taking the other pictures to ask students to guessWhats missing?. 2. Learn the sentences: Where is the library? Its on the first floor. A.Use PPT to show the picture of a building, introduce students what 第一层,第二层 speaks in English.( first floor,second floor) B.Review the sentence pattern Where is the.? by making sentences like Where is the pencil?Where is the pen?Where is the ruler? Then ask Where is the library?, and lead students to answer Its on the first floor. Then replace the word librar by teachers office, library, canteen, garden, and answer them by Its on the firstsecond floor. Lead students to read the sentences:Where is the library? Its on the first floor. C.Play the tape of this part, ask students to listen carefully and follow it.Step . Consolidation and Extension Lets do 1.Ask students to look at the 5 pictures, then listen to the tape. 2.Explain the orders one by one, and give demonstrations, then ask students to do following teacher. Go to the garden.Water the flowers.去花园,浇花。 Go to the library.Read a story-book去图书馆,看故事书。 Go to the teachers office .Say hello .去教师办公室,说你好。 Go to the playground.Play football.去操场,踢足球。 3.Play the tape again, ask students to follow it to do. 4.Ask students to do. Put up the word cards on somewhere in the class. Then ask students to do according to teachers orders. Praise them if they do right. 5.Use the song Our School to end the class.Step.
