Greeting:Hello, everyone. Do you like the song? We can see so many vegetables and fruits in this song. This class I will be your English teacher. You can call me Miss Peng and I hope well have a good time. Ok? T: Class begins.S: Stand up.T: Good morning, everyone.S: Good morning, Miss Peng.T: Sit down. Step2 Presentation1. The teacher takes out an apple and ask:T: Boys and girls, look at here. Whats this?S: Its an apple.2. The teacher takes out a carrot and ask: T: Is this an apple?S: No, it isnt.T: Whats this? ( If you dont know how to speak in English, you can speak in Chinese.)S: Its a carrot.T: Yeah, its a carrot. Read after me: / / /k/ carrot, carrot.(Meanwhile the teacher takes a card and then sticks it on the blackboard.) 3. The teacher takes out a tomato and ask: T: How about this one? Whats this?S: Its a tomato.T: Very good. Read after me: / / /t/ /a:/ /a:/ /ma:/ tomato, tomato. We can also pronounce this word /tmeitu/. Now, read these two words one by one.(The teacher takes a card and then sticks it on the blackboard.)4. Play a game:Every students in the first row get a card, and then you tell students behind you which word you get. I will ask the last student to answer which word you get. Are you ready? Ready go!If the last student gets the word, please hands up. Ok, group XX is the winner.5. But, if more than one carrot or tomato, we should change the single form to plural form. Listen to the tape carefully and then answer me some questions.A: How many parts are there in the dialogue?B: Who are they?C: Where are they?Go through the dialogue:Mike and Sarah go to the farm, and they see many carrots. But Sarah doesnt know whether they are carrots or not, so she asks“Are these carrots?”T: Yes or no?S: Yes, they are.T: Are these carrots big or small?S: Big.T: Yeah, theyre so big.T: Look at picture3. So Mike doesnt know what are they, and he asks:(What does Mike ask?)S: What are these?T: Theyre tomatoes.T: Are they delicious/good/yummy/yum?S: Yes, they are good.T: So Mike can try some.Now, read after the tape loudly.
