Unit 4 At the farmPart A Lets talk & Lets learn厦门市彭厝学校 蔡梅茹一、 教材分析本单元围绕farm这个主题展开,通过Mike、Sarah等人在参观农场的活动,引出农场里的蔬菜和农场的动物。学生已经学习过了水果的表达,但没有学过蔬菜的表达,A部分侧重农场里的蔬菜。本节课是本单元的第一个课时,所以这一课要先学习一些蔬菜的单词及其复数形式,以及句型的问答,最终能够相互交流。二、 学情分析四年级的学生学习英语的主动性高,课堂能够主动积极参与,喜欢有趣的英语活动、游戏和表演。学生在三年级已经学过了一些水果和动物的表达,但还没有学过农场里的蔬菜的表达以及句型的问答。三、教学目标:1、知识与技能目标(1)能听、说、认读单词:tomato、green beans、potato、carrot及它们的复数形式。(2)能听、说、认读句型“What are these? Theyre. ”“Are these.? Yes,they are.No,they arent.” 并能根据实际情况询问并回答各种蔬菜的名称。(3)能够在真实情境中恰当运用句型Theyre good/so big/so long!来描述物品的特点。2、情感态度目标树立健康饮食观念,多吃蔬果!3、学习策略目标培养合作意识和合作精神,能够相互配合并完成任务。三、 教学重难点:教学重点:1.句型“What are these? They are” “Are these.?Yes,they are. No,they arent.”的听说认读以及在实际情景中的运用。2.单词tomato、green beans、potato、carrot及其复数形式的听说认读。教学难点:在句型中运用单词tomato、green beans、potato、carrot及其复数形式。五、教具准备:单词卡片、多媒体,PPT,音频材料等六、教学过程Step 1: Warming-up:1. GreetingsT: Class begins. Good morning, children. How are you today? Imfine, too. Sit down, please.2. Lead in:a. Show a picture and tell the titleT: Before our class, lets enjoy a picture together. Where is the man? At the farm. Today were going to learn Unit4 At the farm Part A. Lets talk & Lets learn.b.Enjoy the beautiful pictures of the farm. c.Brainstorming: Whats at the farm? Fruits: Apples, pearsAnimals: pigs, dogs Vegetables.d.Task: Today we will learn some vegetables at the farm. After that, you can make a riddle of the vegetables and share in the group.【设计意图】运用介绍农场的视频作为导入引进今天的主题。优美的农场视频使孩子们迅速地进入英语学习的氛围中,活跃课堂气氛。Step2: Presentation Look,now our friends Mike and Sarah are visiting at the farm.1. Look and say: Who are they? Where are they? What do they see?【设计意图】通过问题引领,激活学生的知识储备。2. Watch and answer:-Sarah: Are these carrots?-Farmer: A . Yes, they are. B. Lets see who has sharp eyes.【设计意图】利用火眼金睛的游戏,让学生在游戏中巩固新单词,让学生在学中玩,玩中学。2.Game 2: Guessing gameT: You all have sharp eyes. You can catch the vegetables so quickly. And next lets play another game.
