Exchange is the act of obtaining a desired object from someone by offering something in return. Exchange is only one of many ways people can obtain a desired object.As a means of satisfying needs, exchange has much in its favor. People dont have to prey on others or depend on donations. Nor must they posses the skills to produce every necessity. They can concentrate on making things they are good at making and trade them for needed items made by others. Thus exchange allows a society to produce much more than it would with any alternative system. Exchange is the core concept of marketing. For an exchange to take place, several conditions must be satisfied. Of course, at least two parties must participate, and each must have something of value to the other. Each party also must want to deal with the other party and each must be free to accept or reject the others offer. Finally, each party must be able to communicate and deliver.当人们决定通过交换来满足需求和欲望的时候,营销就产生了。所谓交换是指人们从他人那里取得想要的物品,并以某种物品作为回报的行为。获得想要的物品的方式有多种,交换只是其中的一种。作为满足需求和欲望的方式之一,交换有诸多的优点。第一,人们不用占他人便宜或依赖他人;第二,不必具有生产每种必需品的技术。因而他们可以专心生产所擅长的物品,然后用以换回由他人生产所擅长的物品。这样一来,交换就使社会生产出更多的产品来。交换是营销的核心观念,交换发生必须具有几个条件。第一,必须存在交换双方;第二,每方都拥有对方所需的物品。第三,双方都能自由地接受或拒绝对方的提供。最后,双方都有能力进行沟通和发货。Passage2 It is Shell companies policy to promote a management style of direct involvement of employees in decisions affecting their jobs.
