Teacher should also pay attention to cultivate their cultural awareness.In the learning process, students can finally develop their abilities of using synthetic language.Material Analysis:The subject of this unit is “ People and Places”, this lesson is very important in this unit. Its about asking and answering about destinations.This is a little difficult for the fourth-grade students, so teacher should use various ways to let students practice the target language.Teaching Aims:Knowledge aims:1. Students understand and talk about destinations using Im/ Were/Hes/Shes going to _.2. Students can ask and answer about dustinations using Where are you/ they going? Im/were /Theyre going to_.Where is he/ she going? Hes /Shes going to_.Ability aims:Students can be able to communicate with others in a real scene and improve the ability of communication on the basis of the target language.Emotional aims:Have students understand the cultural awareness.Teaching Key Points:1. Use the words and sentence patterns in daily life.2. Students can ask and answer about dustinations using Where are you going? Im/We are going to_. Wheres he/she going? He/She is going to _.3. Lead the students to say “Im from China loudly and proudly.3.Match the words with the right picture.1.Students talk with the teacher happily.2.Students say “Im from China, Were from China.”3.Students drag the words to the proper place.师生交流,练习日常口语,促进师生感情培养学生爱国意识通过选单词活动,复习旧知,为本课教学作铺垫与过渡.Step2 Presentation1.
