8B U1 Speaking 教学设计竹料三中 冯月琴一、 课题名称:8B U1 Speaking二、 教学目标分析:1引导学生学会如何提出、接受或拒绝帮助,并且归纳总结。穿插结合写的练习,突出说为主。2引导学生口头描述不同类型的成功人士和其所需具备的素养。3培养学生概括能力; 培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力。三、 学习者分析:每个学生的心中豆油他们崇拜的英雄(他们都是成功人士),让学生说说他们的英雄,学生们回感兴趣,而且有化话可说。提供帮助、接受帮助或者拒绝帮助的话题在日常生活中很熟悉,学生对此的学习困难不大。四、 教学重点难点分析:重点:1.如何提出、接受或拒绝帮助,并且归纳总结出常用的句型;2.描述成功人士的词汇、句型。难点:如何口头表达描述、介绍一位你心目中的成功人士、英雄。五、 教学进程设计:1.RevisionCheck the homework. Have Ss answer: What were your family doing at 9:00 last night/ Sunday?.2. Speaking A(1) Let Ss look at a picture: A student is carrying something heavy, maybe he needs help. And ask Ss to say the sentence to offer help.They may say: Can I help you? What can I do for you? Can I do anything for you?If he wants you to help , what will he say?-Yes, thank you very muchIf he doesnt need your help, what will he say?-No, thank you./ thanks ( a lot.)。 I can do it myself. Teach Ss “ I can manage.”(2) Ask the students to read aloud the conversation in A1 and answer the questions. To find out the sentences of offering help, refusing help or accepting help. Offer to help (3 times): Can I help you with anything? Come on, let me give you a hand. If you want, I could refuse help (3 times): Thanks very much, but I can manage. No, thanks. Im OK.accept help:Oh, that would be good. Thanks a lot.(3)Ss practise the dialogue(4)Have Ss fill in the blanks of the dialogue in A2 Joyce is doing some housework at home. Speaking B(1) Describe one of the successful people that Ss is familiar with and have Ss guess who the teacher is talking about-Lang Lang.(2) What is success? Successful people are those who always try their best to do things. They also meet many difficulties and problems but they never give up. They may fail many times but they will sure continue their work. They work hard to reach their targets and will not be upset by what other people say. For example, Michael Jordan, Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, Beethoven(3)Ask Ss “ Who is your hero? Why do you like him or her so much? What makes him/her successful?” Ss talk about their heroes, they may use some words like these: successful , clever, hard-working, talented, brave ,confident, have a gift(4)Tell Ss when we describe a successful person, we can say something about what makes him/her successful. Have them brainstorm some words /phrases we use. Get Ss to learn the useful sentence patterns and useful adjectives.(just try your best )hard-working 勤奋的,努力工作的,curious好奇的,talented有才能的,intelligent有才智的,confident自信的,brave勇敢的,able有才干的,能干的 ,active主动的,活跃的 careful仔细的 ,clever机灵的,聪明的,cheerful开朗的creative,富创造力的cultured,有教养的easy-going随和的,responsible负责的,smart精明的,strict严格的,funny有趣的,古怪的,friendly友好的,kind仁慈的,和蔼的,gentle有礼貌的, 温柔的。(5) Have Ss try to make a new dialogue to talk about their heroes.
