PEP 4 Unit 4 At the farm Part C Story time教学目标: 1、能听、说、认读turkey, mutton等单词和句型I love grass. 复习巩固有关蔬菜及农场动物的单词vegetable, cow, hen, sheep 以及复数结构的句型What are those? Theyre cows. Are those turkeys? No, they arent. They are hens. 2、能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容,并使用正确的语音、语调讲述或表演故事。 3、了解一些与动物有关的英语习语,激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,培养学生的综合语言应用能力。 教学重点: 1、能听、说、认读turkey, mutton等单词和句型I love grass. 2、能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容,并使用正确的语音、语调讲述或表演故事。教学难点: 1、能用正确的语音、语调讲述或表演故事。 2、了解一些与动物有关的英语习语,激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,培养学生的综合语言应用能力。 教学过程: Step 1 Warming up1. Greeting T : Good morning, boys and girls? Ss: Good morning, Sophie T : Whats the weather like today? Ss: Its _. T: Yes, its _ and _ today. Before learning a new lesson, lets sing a song. 2. Lets sing (Old MacDonald) T: Lets sing together.Step 2 Review T: We know Mr. MacDonald has a farm. On his farm, we can see some animals and vegetables. Lets go and have a look. (出示蔬菜图片) 1. What are those? Theyre _. T: Look at the animals. What are those? S: Theyre _.2. Are those _? Yes, they are. / No, they arent. T: Are those _? S: Yes, they are. / No, they arent.Step 3 While-task 1. Watch and choose T: Mr. MacDonalds farm is so big. What do Zoom and Zip see at the farm? Now watch and choose.(播放前四幅图动画) What do Zoom and Zip see at the farm? A. Vegetables B. Animals C. Vegetables and animals T: Zoom and Zip see some vegetables and animals.2. Listen to the story and role play. 1) Go to the vegetable garden (Picture 1) a. Listen and follow (“love” VS “like”) T: Its 9 oclock. Zoom and Zip go to the vegetable garden first. Listen and follow. (播放录音,跟读) Zip: Look at the vegetables. I like vegetables. T: Actually Zip likes vegetables very much. So Zip says like this: Zip: Look at the vegetables. I love vegetables.(love三颗爱心,由like变过来)T: “Love” means “like very much”. Zoom: I dont like vegetables.(心碎了) b. Role play T: Who wants to be Zoom?2) Go to see animals (Picture 2-4) a. Look at Picture 2-4, listen and answer. T: Zoom doesnt like vegetables. So what does he like? What about Zip? Its 10 oclock. Zoom and Zip go to see animals at the farm. Look at Picture 2-4, listen and answer. S: Zoom likes milk, chicken and eggs, and mutton. Zip likes cows, hens and sheep. b. Listen and imitate the sentences one by one. (教学turkey和mutton) T: Now lets listen and follow. c. Pair work T: Practice with your partner. One is Zoom and the other is Zip.3) Guess what will happen next T: Its 12 clock. Its very hot. What will happen next? Zip: Its hot. T: What will Zip say next? Can you guess? Maybe he will say Zip: Lets make a hat. T: What will Zoom say next? Can you guess? Maybe he will say Zoom: Good idea.4) Zoom is hungry. 这时候Zoom肚子叫了。Step4: Presentation Story time 1、教师课件展示太阳并做动作说: Its hot. Hat, hat, lets make a hat. 此时教师展示草帽并带在头上。教师板书句子,学生跟读后教师说:Good idea. 板书该句子并讲解。两人一组练习对话 “Lets make a hat. Good idea.”最后教师说一句:I love grass. 学生根据帽子猜测grass意思。 2、教师课件快速展示动物和蔬菜图片,学生说句子: They are. 最后教师说:I like them. 板书该句子进行讲授。 3、教师课件展示肉类食物,学生说出相应的动物英语名称。如:porkpig, muttonsheep. 4、教师展示hen和turkey的图片,学生进行区别,教师讲授单词“Turkey”。 5、教师说: Zoom likes turkey, lets listen and read. 6、播放Story time的录音,学生边听录音边读故事后回答教师的问题 a、Where are Zoom and Zip? b、What can they see at the farm? c、Wh
