Unit 8 Playtime单位及作者:石厦学校小学部 罗莹教学内容及学生情况分析1.本单元的教学内容: 重点单词:badminton, basketball, football, table tennis, volleyball 重点句型:询问和回答时间:What time is it? Itsoclock. 用现在进行时询问和回答正在进行的动作:Whatsdoing? Hes/Shes playing.2.本单元的内容与学生已学知识之间的联系: 第二册第三课Our show主题同样与动作或运动有关。从旧知识sing/dance/run/jump等动作上升到新内容play badminton/play football等具体的运动项目;从I can do过渡到了I am doing. 第一册第七课My body / 第三册第四课In my classroom,共同点是numbers的运用,把之前学过的有关1-12数字的单词运用到了时间的表述上。 第二册第四课At the zoo/ 第四册第八课On the farm由于animals本身就具备有各种运动的特征(如:老虎能跳火圈,猎豹能跑,河马能潜水等等),因此可以与本单元的各运动项目联系起来,用现在进行时对动物的行为进行描述。3.本单元的内容与今后要学的内容之间的联系: 地七册第三课Sports Day谈论的都是关于运动的主题,不同的是本单元是用现在进行时来表述某人正在做的运动,而Sports Day一课则是用一般将来时来谈论将要进行的动作。 第六册第三课My day / 第六册第四课Our lesson这两单元都跟本课一样涉及到了时间的表述,不同的是从整点的表达方法(第五册第八课Playtime)上升到精确到几点几分的表达方法(第六册第三课My day / 第六册第四课Our lesson),由易到难。因此学生在这个阶段必须要先打好基础。 培养学生的阅读兴趣和习惯,为高年段的阅读能力培养做好准备本单元C部分是一篇穿插了图片的故事阅读。简单而有趣。第八册以后,C部分还会增加旁白的内容(如第九册第六课At animal land C. Animal at night),五六年级还增加了I部分的说明文阅读。学生将会逐渐地从单纯的对话模式上升到语篇模式。4.学生分析 本单元的教学对象是小学三年级的学生。经过小学两年的学习,他们已经积累了一定的词汇量并能用简单的英语做自我介绍。但是处于这个年龄段的学生,通常是学得快,遗忘得也快。因此整合本单元内容与前面教材内容之间的联系变得尤为重要。本单元A部分的最后一项活动就是唤醒学生对旧知识的记忆,要报名参加运动俱乐部,就要填写个人信息表,借助信息表来用简单的英语表达自己的姓名、年龄、性别、住址、能做什么、想做什么以及图画中的自己正在干什么。 根据课程标准要求,小学英语教师要解决的一个重要问题就是如何培养学生稳定而持久的英语学习兴趣。小学三年级的学生对学习的趣味性有很高的要求。在40分钟的课堂中,要持久地吸引他们的注意力,就要设计符合他们心理年龄的活动,让他们在玩乐中学习。本单元的教学活动中穿插了各类的童话故事、卡通形象、歌谣、角色扮演以及小组竞赛,使学生学习英语的兴趣得到了提高。总体教学目标1.语言知识目标: 能熟练掌握有关球类运动的词汇;能熟练运用“What time is it? Itsoclock. Whatsdoing? Hes/Shes playing.”这几个句型来提问和回答在什么时间某人正在进行什么运动。2.语言技能目标: 能将所学的语言灵活运用于日常生活的交际中。3.学习策略目标: 能利用简单的阅读策略阅读故事;能利用直拼法的学习策略把具备相同发音规则的单词拼读出来。4.情感态度目标: 通过各种有趣的教学方法培养学生浓厚的学习兴趣;教育学生要爱护球类;教育学生平时要做适量的运动。5.文化意识目标: 学生了解到了各国人民喜爱的球类运动是不同的,初步了解了中国和外国之间有差异的存在这个事实。课时安排 Five periodsPeriod 1: Part A and EPeriod 2: Part BPeriod 3: Part C and DPeriod 4: Part F and Workbook exercisePeriod 5: Revision课时教案第1课时教学内容: Part A and E教学目标: 掌握并能运用有关球类运动的单词,如football, play football等。 熟练掌握Look! Thats He/ She/ They (is/ are) playing句型的运用。 学生能结合新旧知识做简单的自我介绍。 学生掌握字母组合al的发音,能举例以前学过的含有al字母组合并与之发音相同的单词,能按照此发音规律尝试拼读不认识的单词。教学重难点: 1.教学重点: 单词football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis的掌握及运用是本课时的重点。 2.教学难点: 现在进行时的结构及主谓一致。掌握be playing 句型与单数人称及复数人称的搭配是本课时的难点。教学方法: 直拼法教学法、任务型教学法、TPR教学法、合作学习法。教具准备: 课件,金太阳英语教学光碟,投影。教学过程:一、组织教学及复习1. Lets do and chant: I can jump. 注1(展示课件第2屏)注1 让孩子们一边唱歌谣一边做动作,复习了旧知识jump/kick/run/throw等词的同时,也为后面的do the action环节打下基础。2. Phonics teaching注2(展示课件第34屏)T: What does a dog sound? What does Garfield sound? What does Mcdull sound? What does a cock sound? Yes, the cock sounds . Todays letter sound is a-l . Please give me some words that have al in it. Ss (brain storm): all, call, hall, tall, wall, small, ball, walkT: There are some words that you havent learnt before. Can you try to read them?Ss: m-al-l=mall; f-al-l=fall; t-al-k=talkT: Today we are going to learn something about ball.注2 用音形结合的方式学习字母组合al的发音。课前预习的作业就是让学生总结1-4册书上有al字母组合的词。课堂上让学生头脑风暴,举例。老师提供几个还没学过的单词,指导学生根据发音规则读出这些新单词。二、新知识的呈现与归纳1. Present the words: Get some clothes to the balls and introduce some friends to them. 注3(展示课件第512屏)T: Look, the cock is wearing nice clothes. But there are three balls. They dont have any clothes. So they dont have any friends. Lets help them get some clothes and find some friends. T: I have three wardrobes here. The blue one, the pink one and the yellow one. Open one of them to find clothes to each ball. S1: I want to open the pink/blue/yellow one.T: Oh! What a nice suit! Look, its a football! He has a friend now. Thats Huanhuan. He can kick. He can play football. T: The three balls are happy now. Thank you for your help. Ill give you two riddles as presents. 注3 把球类拟人化,在一开始的时候就跟学生灌输球类是我们的好朋友,是可以给我们带来快乐的。让学生自主地帮助三个以ball结尾的球选择衣服,帮它们寻找朋友。同时把badminton和table tennis这两种不是以ball结尾的单词用谜语的方式引出来,增加了知识性和趣味性。2. Summarize the words and phrases 注4(展示课件第13屏)注4 从词形上对单词归类,有益于学生记单词。同时从静态的football等名词,过度到动态的play football等动词短语。3. magical eyes (展示课件第14屏)T: All the balls are happy now. They are moving very fast. Use your magical eyes and see. 4. Present the sentences (展示课件第1516屏)(Books closed) Play Kingsun Software. Ask pupils to listen and repeat the sentences.三、新知识的巩固和运用1. Group work 1: Lets write(展示课件第1718屏)(Books opened) Write down some sentences under each picture. 注5注5 以听、读促写。加强学生对重点句型的记忆,培养学生的观察能力。2. Group work 2: Lets play (展示课件第19屏)TPR game: One pupil does the action and the others guess. Time limit: 1 minute. 注6注6 强调身体的互动性、教学的生动性。让孩子更直观地记忆新单词。3. Group work 3: Lets join our school Sports Club(展示课件第2021屏)Finish the form first, then report to the class. Time limit: 3 minutes. 注7注7 创设情境,让学生结合新旧知识介绍自己的个人信息。四、小结德育教育: Balls are our friends. Its oclock的句型进行时间的询问和回答 学生能用现在进行时准确描述出某人在进行什么运动(作为拓展)学生了解现在分词按词形有三种分类:直接加ing;去e加ing;双写加ing教学重难点:1.教学重点: 运用What time is it? What is/are doing?进行问答 2.教学难点: 运用现在进行时准确描述出某人在进行什么运动教学方法: 情景教学法、TPR教学法、直拼法教学法、合作学习法教具准备: 课件、金太阳英语教学光碟、投影教学过程:一、组织教学及复习1. TPR game: You do, I say. 注1T:Look at me. I am? (pretend to kick the ball) Ss: playing football!S1 (Rita): Hello, Theresa.S2 (Theresa): Hello, Rita.Rita does the action, Theresa says “Look! Thats Rita. Shes playing.”注1 让学生的身体跟脑子一起动起来,复习A部分学过的单词和句型。学生互动的形式:学生做动作,然后自主选择说句子的同学。说句子的同学再负责做动作,然后选择别的同学回答。2. Phonics: Magic e 注2 (展示课件第26屏)T: You did so well! I will give you a present. Its a story about magic e. 小故事:从前有一个有魔力的字母e, 当a/e/i/o/u这五个元音字母后面跟着一个辅音字母时,magic e就悄悄地跟在它们的后面,挥动魔法棒,把元音字母原来的音改变,不再发/e/i/,而是要发成ei/i:/ai/u/ju:! 而这个e是不发音的,所以它也是silent e!T: Please give me some words that have magic e in it. Ss (brain storm): cake, make, takeT: There are some words that you havent learnt before. Can you try to read them?Ss: ch-i-n-e-se=Chinese; t-i-m-e=time; c-o-k-e=coke; c-u-b-e=cubeT: Good! Today we are going to learn something about time.注2time是本课的新词,虽然学起来很简单,可是发音规则学生是不知道的,从有趣的magic “e”的故事让学生习得此发音规律,会记得更牢靠。3. I have a poem about him; do you want to read it?A poem about McdullMcdull is fat.His teeth are bad.Hes very short.But he doesnt do any sports.Mudull is sad.He puts on his cap.He goes out and play.Says toworrow is another day. 注3 一首小诗,在复习字母及字母组合的发音规律的同时,以故事的形式引出新知。二、新知识的呈现与归纳1. Mcdulls Sports Clubs注4 (展示课件第2834屏)T: So, Mcdull is short and fat. Thats not good. Mrs Mc has an idea. Do you know what it is? Yes, she wants Mcdull to do some sports. Look! She makes Mcdull join many sports club! What clubs is he in? Lets look at his timetable. T: Poor Mcdull. Do you think he can do all the sports in one day? Lets have a look.注4麦兜妈妈爱子心切,希望麦兜通过做运动减肥,所以擅自给他报名参加了许多的运动俱乐部(与第一课时最后一个活动相呼应)。创设了麦兜在运动俱乐部里运动的情景。激发学生的好奇心去探索麦兜究竟能否完成如此沉重的任务,在探索的过程中,学生初次接触本课的新句型:What time is it? Itsoclock. What is Mcdull doing? Hes playing.2. Listen and repeat: play Kingsun Software(展示课件第35屏)T: Can we do so many sports in one day? No, we cant! There are some other students in Mcdulls Sports Clubs. They are having their Sports Day. Lets open our books. Listen and repeat. 3. Pair work 1: make a dialogue according to the text. (展示课件第36屏)三、新知识的巩固和运用1. (主要针对基础较差的学生) Pair work 2: look, write and act.先仿照原文的句型,在对应的图片下写下对话,同桌之间相互练习对话,最后向全班同学发言。注5 (展示课件第3741屏)注5以听、读促写。任务简单却实用。从因材施教原则出发,老师选择同学在班级做汇报的时候要多把机会留给后进生,多给予激励性评价。2. (主要针对基础较好的学生) Pair work 3: Animals Sports Day 注6 (展示课件第4250屏)T: Mcdull didnt join the Sports Day with the students. But he is in another kind of Sports Day. Thats the Animals Sports Day. Lets see what the animals are doing. 示范:T: What time is it?S1: Its eight oclock.T: Whats Frank the Fish doing?S1: He is swimming.T: How about the other animals? Can you make a dialogue with your partner?T: Guess, what is Mcdull doing at five oclock on Animal Sports Day? Yes, he is practising kungfu! He is happy now.注6把动物拟人化。创设了动物运动会的情景,给学生提供的是参赛动物的姓名、参赛项目和参赛时间。要求学生运用本课的重点句型说出这些动物几点钟在进行什么运动。拓展了知识点,让学生自己观察领悟到现在分词的三种词形:直接加ing; 去e加ing; 双写加ing. 四、小结Play Kingsun Software about Part G. Say the chant. Dad is watching me.注1这首充满诗情画意的歌谣让学生练习了现在进行时的句型。同时,这首歌谣中的情景正好与本节课故事的情景相吻合。为后面的阅读做了铺垫。2. Group Competition:Pupils in different levels can choose different tasks to fulfill. The language points in part A and B are involved. 注2 (展示课件第6072屏)注2将班级学生分成三大组进行比赛,给出均等的机会,让学生根据自己的水平选择不同分值,不同程度的题目进行回答。题目的设置具有梯度性。questions二、新知识的呈现与归纳1.Pre-reading:Listen and think. While reading(1)First reading: (Group work) Read silently, fill in the blanks, then finish the practice in Part D. Reading Time limit: 3 minutes. 注4 (展示课件第8082屏)注4以读促写。在既定时间内运用跳读的方式进行有目的的阅读。从文中提取重要信息填入表格中。(2)Second reading: Listen and repeat. Imitate the tone of voice. 注5注5让学生跟光碟读课文,模仿语音语调,为后面的角色扮演做好准备。(3)Third reading: Read aloud together.(4)Fourth reading: Read with your partners and prepare for role play. Time limit: 3 minutes. 三、新知识的巩固与活用Post reading:role play the story注6注6以读促演。学生在充分理解和掌握故事情节的情况下,合作表演课本剧。这不仅给学生提供了在既定情景下运用语言知识的机会,还让学生在玩中学的方式中爱上英语。部分学生还能临场发挥,自主创造了独特的对白,对课本内容进行了小小的改编。四、小结T: Is Billy a good boy?
