Free talk :T:Now ,Lets talk about school .This is the first time that I come to your school.Your school is so big and beautiful .Whats in your school ?(复习There is ./There are.句型。板书There is.和There are.)(用歌曲引入,活跃气氛的同时为学习过去和现在的变化做铺垫,用图片复习有关学习的单词,师生通过free talk的形式复习There be 句型的一般现在时用法,为There be 句型的过去时态学习做铺垫。Step II. Presentation1.Lets tryT:Your school is very beautiful,and your classroom is big and beautiful.PPT呈现20年前的教室和那个教室现在的图片.It was my classroom 20 years ago.What was it like ? It was old and small.PPT呈现一张现在的教室图片,It changed like this.What is it like now ?It is big and beautiful. This classroom is very different from my old classroom.It changed a little or a lot?T:There is a guest visiting Yifans school.Look! Who is he ?S:Yifans grandpa.T:They are talking about the school.This is Yifans school,and it was grandpas school about fifty year ago.T:Now,look at the sentences,(读句子,学生猜测)Then open your books and turn to page 34,listen and tick or cross. Check the answers.(通过老师上学时的教室图片和现在那个教室图片的比较,理解different,a little,a lot,为听力做准备。)4. Lets talk(1) .PPT呈现老教室的照片:(感知There was 和There were 句型)T:There is a computer in your classroom.But there was no computer in my old classroom.There are many computers in the computer room now. Lets watch the video and answer the questions.(看动画,理解对话中的重点句型,并适时引出How do you know that? 为学生记忆并表演对话做铺垫。) Was there a library in grandpas old school? Were there computers in grandpas time ?当学生回答出答案时,追问:How do you know that ? Read the sentences .Then write them on the board and read them.(know 板书)Listen again.What was grandpas school like?
