Period 1Section 1a 2c 蓝山县 蓝屏学校 201 4 年 上 期 七 年级 主备人郑春琴执教人郑春琴课时总课时执教时间集体备课成员教材简析 本节课主要学习一些动物的名称以及自己对某些动物的喜好的原因进行表达,初步掌握应用“why-because”句型来询问他人爱好并解释原因。预设目标1掌握有关动物的单词及描绘这些动物的形容词。2. 学习“why”引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。教学重难点重点:1、重点词汇:tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, panda, why, because, scary, kind, cute, smart, lazy , beautiful, Australia, South Africa, China. 2、重点句型:Lets see the lions.-Why do you like lions?-Because they are fun.难点:1、完成听力部分的训练。2、理解并运用由“why”引导的特殊疑问句。教具 准备A tape recorder some pictures of animals 教法学法Listening, Speaking教学过程Step one Leading in 1、Simple greeting. 2、Review the names of subjects, then ask students which subject do they like best and why. eg: A: Whats your favorite subject? B: My favorite subject is P.E. A: Why do you like it? B: Because its fun.Step two Presentation 1、Learn the new words a. Show one picture and ask students what this is. b. Teach this new word and ask students what they think of it.Use this way to learn other words.2、Learn the target languagea. Use those pictures to ask students if they like them or not and why.b. Use one of those pictures to make a conversation with your partner.eg. A: Lets see the lions. B: Why do you like them? A: because they are fun. Step three Practice 1、Look at the activity in 1a, and read these words together, then match the words with the animals. 2、Listen to the tape and check the animals you hear in 1a.(1b) 3、Listen to the tape and try to finish the 2a activity. 4、Listen again and finish the 2b activity. 5、After finishing the activity, ask some students to share the answer. And then check the answers.Step four Consolidation Talk about the other two animals in 2a with your partner.Step five Summary In this class, we have learned many new words of animals and descriptions about animals. Divide the class into two groups. One group read the statements and the other read the responses. 2、Help students understand the usage of “why” question by giving detail directions. 3、Read these sentences together.Step three Practice1、Form into pairs to discuss the conversation. (3a)2、Fill in the blanks with the words from the box.3、Ask some students to read their answers.4、Ask two of students to read the conversation.5、Give students two minutes and complete the sentences in 3b, then ask some students to share their opinions.Step four Consolidation1、Listen to the tape and understand the general meaning about 2d.2、Underline the “why” question and its answer, then read them loudly3、Explain some difficult sentences.4、Read the conversation together.5、Have students roleplay the conversation. Step five Summary In this class, we have a further study about“why” question and do some exercise. Maybe other students can guess what animals they are talking to. 3、Ask some students to tell what patterns we have learned last class, then read the sentences in grammar box together.Step Two Presentation1、 Look at the animals in the 1a, and say about their names one by one.2、Try to think some words to describe the animal that you read it. 3、Read the description words together. 4、Use the information in 1a to make some sentences. Eg: I like pandas because they are cute and friendly.Step three Practice 1、Listen to the tape and check the description words you hear in 1a. 2、 Listen again and check the answers.3、 Listen to the tape again, and fill in the chart.4. While reading 1、Read the article fast, then try to know its general meaning, also underline those new words. 2、Read carefully, and answers the following questions. Who want to save elephants? Why elephants are smart animal? Why elephants are in great danger, and what can we do for it?
