(8分) Its important to learn about protecting our environment. Here is a 5R rule for us:1.ReduceIf you want to reduce waste, you should use things wisely. Millions of trees are being cut down to make paper. If everyone uses a little paper carelessly and throw it out, soon we would not have any trees left. Other things are also being wasted, and people dont know what to do with the waste in big cities. So it is necessary to reduce the waste2.ReuseYou should always think of reusing the usable things before throwing them out. Give your clothes you do not use or the ones which are too small to the poor. With a family, you may pass on such clothes to younger brothers or sisters.3. RecycleBottles, cans and paper can easily be recycled. By doing so, we save lots of time and money. For example, coke cans are sent to a factory, where they are smashed flat(压平)and melted (融化) and the melted things are made for new coke cans.4. RecoverWhen you buy a box of apples, there may be a few rotten(腐烂的)apples. You have two choices: one is to throw the whole apple away, or you could cut off the rotten parts and eat the good parts. In this way, you are recovering the eatable parts of food.5. RepairIf one of the legs of your table is broken, you can repair it instead of throwing it away. If you want to change for better ones, It is better for you to sell the old things or give them to other people who can use them after doing some repair. It is true that North America is a “throw-away” society(社会). But the time has come to change our way of life so that we can protect our environment. Every one of us should try our best.(1)_ can be recycled.A . Only hard thingsB . Many thingsC . Few soft thingsD . (8分)阅读理解 Earlier this year, China achieved a new milestone (里程碑) in space research. On January 3, 2019, Change-4 became the first lunar probe (月球探测器) in history to successfully land on the far side of the moon. The Earths gravity (重力) slows the moons rotation (自转), matching it to the speed of its orbit (公转). Therefore, the far side of the moon is almost dark and has never been seen. Its this sense of the unknown that makes the far side of the moon such an interesting place for scientific and space research. Being blown by solar (太阳的) winds, the far side may have the special minerals (矿物质). For this reason, Change-4 will study the effect of solar winds on the lunar surface and any mineral found by the spacecraft. Change-4 is also carrying flower seeds, potatoes and silkworm eggs to see whether life is possible on the moon. If it is, then the moon will become a possible choice for space travel in the future. However, research of the dark side isnt easy. As the far side is blocked(阻断) off from us, radio noise coming off Earth is also blocked. This is why Chinas relay satellite (中继卫星) Queqiao was sent up in May, 2018. Thanks to Queqiao, the communication problem betweenEarth and Change-4 has been well solved. Power supply (电源供应) is also a challenge to the task. Change-4 gets energy from the sun through its solar panels. As we know, a lunar day has the length (长度) of 28 Earth days. After Change-4 was sent up on December 8, 2018, it took the probe over 20 days to orbit the moon to be in a position to be able to land in moon daylight and use its solar panels. Luckily, everything goes well, Change-4 has worked on the dark side for over 5 months. It has sent back many photos of the far side of the moon and has been used to carry out some scientific experiments. The New York Times used the word groundbreaking to praise the task and wrote that it will offer help to the history and development of the moon. (1)When was Change-4 sent up? A . In May, 2018.B .
