Part A Lets learn ( PEP 小学英语六年级下册)教学目标：1、 能够正确掌握单词younger，older，taller，shorter，longer,并对本课时形容词变比较级的基本方法进行总结。2、 能够在真实情景中使用英语询问他人身高:How tall are you ? 并进行问答：Im metres.3、 能够听懂会说Lets learn 内容，并根据实际情况运用本课重点句型、去询问和表达身高、年龄等。4、 能够提高口语表达能力和语言组织能力，并且进行积极的思考和大胆的创新，提高自主学习能力。教学重点：能够正确掌握单词younger, older, taller, shorter, longer, 并对形容词变比较级的基本规律进行总结。教学难点：能够根据真实情景在句子中熟练运用形容词比较级。教学准备：多媒体课件、单词卡片、调查表Step1 Warm-up1. Greetings .T:Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls .Ss: Good morning/ afternoon , Ms Zhang.2. Lets sing a song together “My small cat ”3. Lets go over . Old ,young, tall, short, long.Step 2 Presentation1. 出示演员柏青和赵丽颖图片，利用这两张图片进行比较，分别讲解单词older和younger ,柏青和赵丽颖是女演员， Bai Qing is older than Zhao Li ying . Zhao Liying is younger than Bai Qing. 领读 older 和younger ,并拼读，板书，然后让学生寻找这两个单词的共同之处，讲解字母组合er的发音，告诉学生older 和 younger 是反义词。2. 用同样方法讲授单词 taller和 shorter，出示姚明和潘长江图片，姚明是一个优秀的篮球运动员，潘长江是一位演员，Yao Ming is taller than Pan Changjiang. Pan Changjiang is shorter than Yao Ming.讲解taller 和 shorter , shorter在这里是指更矮的，领读并拼读，板书，taller 和shorter 是反义词。3. 利用猴子和兔子尾巴的长短来讲解单词longer 和 shorter，The monkeys tail is shorter than the rabbits tail . The rabbits tail is shorter than the monkeys tail. 领读并拼读，板书longer 和 shorter，并告诉学生这是一组反义词。4. 找单词的游戏。5. 分别出示句型：How tall are you ? Im1.72 metres .
