What time is it?教学设计 砀山县果园场小学 毛敏Teaching aims: knowledge aims: 1.Students can listen, read and recognize the new words and phrases: breakfast, lunch, dinner, music class, English class, P.E class. 2.Students can learn and master three sentences: what time is it? It is.oclock. it is time forAbility aims:Students can use the sentence patterns to express their daily activities and students can speak more English.Emotional aims: Students can have an aware of cherishing the time and cultivate the spirit of cooperative learning.Teaching key and difficult points : 1.Students will be able to master the pronunciation and the meaning of the words and the usage of the sentences. 2.Students will be able to use the sentences correctly in the real situations.Teaching methods: task-based teaching method situational teaching method.Teaching aids: PPT, a model clock.Teaching proceduresStep 1 warming up Enjoy a song about numbers and sing after the song. Step2 Lead- in Take out of a model clock, count the numbers from 1 to 12 , asking what is this? What does it do?Step 3 Presentation 1.show some pictures about time , asking what time is it? Lead the students to answer: It isoclock. 2.Still through some pictures on PPT, ask the students to look at the pictures carefully: what should he do next? Lead them to answer: it is time for breakfast. Similarly lead them to answer: it is time for lunch, dinner, English class and so on.Step 4 Consolidation1.Competition. Two students are as a group, I set the time through the model clock, the two students compete to answer: what time is it?2.Guessing the time. One student performs using the body languages in the front of the class, the others guess: what time is it?3.Describing one day. Students describe one day using the sentence patterns we learnt. Of course, I will give them some tips on the PPT.Step 5 Making a summaryI will ask one student as the teacher , guide the students to recall the words and sentences acco
