Unit 2 How often do you exercise?【教学设计】Section B 1a1eLearning Aims 教学目标: 1.能记住并能运用下列单词及短语:junk,junk food ,coffee,health.2.会运用want sb. to do sth.,be good for 和how often 进行对话。 3.会用频度副词就基本的饮食习惯进行对话。【学情分析】:八年级一班是我刚刚接手的班级,学生整体英语基础不是很好,很多学生对英语学习有抵触情绪。我通过与学生沟通交流,逐步了解了学生的困难,帮助她们树立信心,鼓励她们要有科学的学习方法。同时为学生创设好的英语学习环境。通过一段时间努力,初步达到了理想的学习效果。【教学重点】:1. Master the new words:junk food,milk,coffee,drink,health2. Master the phrases:how many,be good for,be bad for,every day【教学难点】Master the sentence pattern“How often do you?”【教学过程】 Step Lead-inGreet the class and review some sentences. Step Presentation1. Teaching the new words Let the students read learning aims,then show the new words on the screen and teach the new words.Ask students to repeat them.And make sure everyone knows the meanings.2. Teaching activity 1aPoint out the five words.Explain the instructions and the sample.Call attention to Picture c.Say something about it using one of the words.For example,There are vegetables on the plate.Most people eat vegetables on the plate.Most people eat vegetables every day.Ask student to do the same thing for the other five pictures individually.Then point out the blank line in front of each word.Ask students to match each word with a picture by writing the letter of the picture on the line in front of the correct word.Point out the sample answer. As students work,move around the room,answering questions as needed. Step PracticeTeaching activity 1b. Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class. Then have students work in pairs,asking and answering questions about the expressions in 1a.Then ask some pairs to present some questions and answers to the class. Call students attention to some language points and analyse them. Eg. want sb.to do sth / want to do sth. / be good for sth/sb. be bad for sth/sb. Step Listening1. Teaching activity 1c and 1d.Tell students they will hear a reporter interview two people,Tina and Bill.Ask students to listen to the recording and decide if Tina and Bill are healthy.Circle Yes,No,or I dont know in the chart.2. Ask students to focus on the survey with Tinas and Bills names at the top. Ask a student to read the six questions to the class.Point out the sample answer.
