1. 教材内容分析 Parts 3a-Self Check of Section B is the sixth period of this unit. This period focuses on writing ability practice with the present progressive tense. First they will have a review of the reading part , a TV report about ZhuHuis family and the conclusion of the tense structure and the way to change a verb into its V-ing form. The reading part has prepared students some useful descriptions about what people are doing and help students to form a whole concept of writing . Part 3a give students an example and help them to describe what people are doing according to a family photo . In the Part 3c students will try to write their own family or friendsphotos.2. 教材目标 1.Students will be able to identify some phrases or chunks of a persons daily activities and use them fluently in a situation of the present progressive tense , such as taking a walk in a park ,reading in a classroom, dancing in a dinning hall,drawing outside and so on.2.Students will be able to use what they have learned to talk about what people are doing in their own family photos .3.Students will be able to relate their knowledge to their everyday life, and realize the importance of saving the current time.3教学重难点 Students learn to describe what people are doing and where they are doing in a combinational sentence by using the expressions and tense they havelearned.4教学过程 4.1 教学活动I. Cheer up&Greetings ,Revision & Lead-inStep 1.Cheer up : Sing an English song as usual ,and chant out their Today slogan” in the reetings:Open my mouth , try my best. Learn English ,feel happy .(Ss clap their hands and chant happily. 学生们和教师一起唱英文歌曲“Bingo”,边拍手边吟诵“今日标语”，不仅调动了学生们的积极性,而且让他们放松了身心,融入到课堂的学习氛围当中。)【Revision】Teacher guide Ss to recall what they have learned in the TV report in 2b . What are my family doing? 2. Ask some Ss ask and answer about the photo quickly . S1: What are they doing ? S2:They are taking a walk in a park .
