The importance of regional characters of its development More and more people are asked some questions about changes in different aspects,such as the change of their dressing styles,the habits in their life,the building styles and so on. Especially recently, newspapers have reported that officials in a little-known mountainous area near Guiyang, Guizhou province wanted to turn the area into a “central business distract” for Guiyang and invited a foreign design company to give it an entirely new look. The design company came up with a blueprint for unconventional,super-futuristic buildings. This has triggered off different responses. Some appreciate of the bold innovation of the design,but others held that it failed to reflect regional characteristics or local cultural heritage. Here I am inclined to the latter statement. Now I will give my following ample evidence to support my opinion. From the above news we know some people in Guizhou are afraid that others forget the root of their region and abandon their regional culture. That is the reason why people object to the bold design. We all know that innovation and imagination are both the important factors to promote the development of our era,but have we ponder the root of our region and our nation. Similarly,for instance,as we know, Sanya is a scenic spot in Hainan,where people can relax and have a holiday. Sanya is famous for the limpid sea and also we can eat a lot of yummy seafood. This is one aspect being different from other tourist destinations and the reason why Sanya attract people coming here. Sanya develops its tourism by its unnatural and extraordinary advantage. Therefore it not only develops the regional tourism,but also propagates the international tourism island. Therefore,when we draw the blueprint in every area, undoubtedly,we should combine local advantage into it. And then it enables local people or others in different areas not to forget the local regional characters or local cultural heritage. Whats more,in Beijing the substantial change in peoples life,they own beautiful houses,they wear different kind of clothes and so on . Great changes have taken place in their life. But without doubt,they never forget the Beijing courtyard,cheongsam etc. Even more when some natives get married,the brides choose wear beautiful cheongsam and held their weddings in Beijing courtyard.
