Unit 7 Its raining.新目标七年级英语下册第六单元教学设计821中学 陈卫红Student: Class Two,Grade SevenText book:GO for itTeaching Time:45minLesson Type:The first period ,speakingTeaching content analysis:This is the first period of this lesson.This period mainly focuses on speaking and listening.Student have learned the present Continue Tense in last unit.And we will learn this tense further.Besides,this period tells us more information about weather .It shows us a colorful and lively weather by using a lot of different descriptive words.It is very important and useful to talk about our daily life.Students analyse: There are 49 students in my class.And the students are of different levels.So I should use the way from easy knowledge to difficult knowledge. And I often use some activities in the class to finish some tasks such as individual,pair or group work to let each of them have more chances to practise English.Teaching Aims and Demands:(1) Knowledge Aims: 1 To learn the words about weather. 2 To learn the way to express weather. 3 To describe what you are doing.(2) Ability Aims: 1 Students can master the words about weather and use them to talk about weather. 2 Improve the students speaking and listening ability.(3) Emotion Aims: 1All students enjoy the period by guessing,watching,speaking,listening,playing and singing. 2 Encourage the students to learn and use such weather words to communicate with each other through their action. 3 Guide the students to work together activly,help each other ,learn from each other,trian the spirits of team-work. 4 Make the students understand the features of different days and love them.Teaching Important points:1 Help the students grasp the main words about weather.2 Encourage students useHows the weather?and Whats the weather like?to ask and talk about weather.Teaching Difficult point: Help students to describe the weather in English.Teaching Method:1 Lead my students to know more and remember more words by guessing,single work,pair work and group work.2 Speaking,listening activity to help the students grasp the content about weather.3 Competition and Task - besed teaching method.Teaching Tools: ppt in computer ,tape and recorder,blackboard,a phone ,phone number Teaching procedures:Step 1 Greeting Greet the whole class as usual.Step 2 Reviewing When the students are standing and greeting,ask them a question.T:What are you doing now?.S:We are standing/greeting.T:What is Miss chen doing now?S:Miss chen is standing/speaking English.T:Sit down please.Teacher does many actions and let the students guess What am I doing such as swim ,run ,watch TV ,play computer,play basketball.Step 3 leading in Teacher turn back and draw some pictures on the blackboard.T: What is Miss chen doing now?S: Miss chen is drawing.Teacher draw the pictures as soon as possible.T:What is Miss chen drawing about?S:.(many diffrent ideas)T:Yes .All of them are about weather.And today we will learn about weather.(Unit 6 Its raining.)Write down the title on the blackboard.Step 4 learningWords:Look at pictures and learn new content about weather:Raining/rainy windy cloudy sunny snowing/snowyAdd sentence:Hows the weather there?Its.Ask and answer.New places:Learn new content about cityToronto Beijing Boston Shanghai MoscowSentences:Hows the weather in.?Whats the weather like in .?Its.Step 5 finishing sectionA 1aMatch the words with the pictures.And then check answer and read together.Step 6 listeningListen and write these city names in the box above.Step 7 practing (group-work) Look at 1a ask and answer.Step 8 guessing Action1: T: take out an umbrella and open up it .S:Is it raining/rainy?T:Yes,it is.Action 2:T:Hold on the hat.
