Unit6 Im watching TVSection A (1a-1c)(课堂教学设计) 板石河中学-初胜华一设计说明本课时是本单元的预备环节,引导学生接触话题“What are you doing?”;重点是帮助学生学会如何将动词变为现在分词;学中充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设情景,引导学生在运用语言中巩固所学知识;课堂中开展小组表演、游戏等多种任务型活动,给学生提供更多的合作交流空间和时间,进行探究性学习。二教学目标1.知识目标(1)掌握单词和短语:newspaper,use,soup,wash; read a newspaper,make soup。(2)掌握句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. (3)语法:现在进行时(Present Progressive Tense)2.能力目标: 学会用英语谈论人们正在做什么。3.情感目标:培养用英语获取信息、与人合作的能力。激发学生学习英语的兴趣和热情, 使他们在接近生活场景的交际中乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与。 三重点难点1.重点: 现在进行时的用法。2.难点(1).现在进行时中现在分词的结构。(2).能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述和表达正在进行的动作。四教学准备 多媒体课件、录音机、磁带。五教学过程Step 1 Leading in Greetings. How are you today? Whats the weather like today? What animals do you like ?Step 2 Presentation1. Present the new words and phrases. 1)、newspaper报纸 巧记 news (新闻;消息)+ paper (纸) newspaper 报纸 注意news和paper均为不可数名词,但newspaper却为 可数名词 短语 read a newspaper 看报 in the newspaper在报纸上 2)、use使用;运用 use the computer用电脑 拓展 useful有用处的;有用的 English is very useful。英语很有用。 3)、soup汤 注意 soup为不可数名词。 短语 chicken soup 鸡汤 make soup做汤 4)、wash洗 短语 wash the dishes洗餐 Wash clothes洗衣服。2. Give the students some time and let them try to remember the new words phrases.3. Translate the following words and phrases into Chinese. watch TV 看电视 clean 打扫卫生 read a newspaper 看报纸 exercise 锻炼 listen to a CD 听CD唱片 use the computer 使用电 make soup 做汤 wash the dishes 洗餐具 talk on the phone通过电话交谈4. Show some pictures to tell Present Progressive Tense(现在进行时)。What are they doing ? doing homework watching TV Cleaning eating dinner Reading talking on the phoneStep 3 Practice 1.Pair-work. Look at the pictures. Ask and answer these questions. Example: S1:What is he doing? S2:He is playing basketball. A: What are the students doing? B:They are dancing. A: Whats the girl doing ? B: She is painting. A :What is the boy doing? B: He is swimming. A: What are they doing? B:Theyre watching TV. A: Whats he doing ? B:Hes reading. 2. Ask classmates to performance action and then make conversations in pairs.3.Ask six groups of students to mime some activities in front of the class . one by one to present the sentence patterns:“Whats she/he doing? She/He is watching TV/talk on the phone”4. Sum up the Present Continuous Tense 现在进行时态 1. 定义:表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作。 2. 构成:助动词be ( am ,is, are) + 动词ing形式。 3. 动词ing形式的构成规律: 1) 一般情况下,在动词原形后直接加- ing. 如:workworking dodoing playplaying study studying 2)以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,去掉e, 再加-ing. 如:dancedancing comecoming taketaking makemaking havehaving 3) 以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,则双写这一字母,再 加-ing. 如:getgetting shopshopping runrunning swimswimming forgetforgetting stopstopping putputting beginbeginning cutcutting 4. 现在进行时态的标志词:now, listen, look等。 如:What are you doing now? 你在干什么? Im reading now. 我现在正在读书。 Listen! She is singing. 听,她正在唱歌。 5.Practice Ask the students to add “ing” to the words .swim save go comeopenenjoy arrive tell write dovisitweargivesleeprunpassbeginwaitshowshoptakehaveseewatchpayreadcleanlivegetwalkStep 4 talking1.Read the list of words and phrases and ask the students to repeat 2.Please match each word or phrase on the list with one of the pictures Answers:1.i 2.d 3.g 4.a( i ) 5.h 6.e 7.b 8.c 9.f3.Describe each picture by saying “He/She is”。 For example: a:He is talking on the phone. b:She is making soup. c:He is washing the dishes. d:He is cleaning. e: He is using the computer. f:She is exercising. g:He is reading a newspaper. h: He/She is listening to a CD. i: She is watching TV.Step 5 Listening Listen to the tape and answer the following questions. 1.What is Jenny doing? 2.What is John doing? 3.What are Dave and Mary doing? 1.Play the recording for the students twice. Ask them to listen and write each activity on the line. 2.Check the answers Step 6. Summary Ask the students to sum up together 询问“某人正在做什么?”的句式结构。 What+be+sb+doing? 答语:Sb+be +v-ing+其它。Step 7. pair work 1.Ask the students to read the conversation in 1c in pairs. 2.Now work in pairs. Ask and answer questions like this : S1: Whats he doing ? S2 : Hes 3. Ask some students to act it outStep 8 Summary In this lesson,we have learned: 1. New words :newspaper , use ,soup , wash. 2.The phrases: read a newspaper. make soup. wash the dishes. 3. sentences: What is he /she doing? What are you doing?
