Knowledge goal:A. to master the main vocabulary: computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional. B. The main sentences structure: (1) What are you going to be when you grow I up? I am going to be an engineer. (2) How are you going to do that? I am going to study math hard.C. Grammar: using “be going to” to express future tense.(2). Ability goals: students can use English to talk about future plans, improving students listening, speaking, reading, writing ability.(3). The emotion goal: by talking about the future plan what to do and how to achieve the goal, let students to consider their own future, to prepare early for the future. Cultivate a strong interest of students in learning English, positive emotion, willing to participate in various activities of the good cooperation, cultivating the spirit of unity and cooperation.(4). Teaching important points: to learn the new words such as computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional and other key words and What are you going to be when you grow up? I am going to be an engineer. How are you going to do that? Step3 Presentation (ten minutes)1 Teach new words and expressions by showing the pictures.(The use of multimedia display pictures to introduce new vocabulary, intuitive, image, impressive.)2 Present what are you going to be when you grow up?
