Step 4Presentation (2)1.Show the pictures by talking with Ss.(Whos shorter?Pan Changjiang is shorter than Zeng Zhiwei.)2.Introduce the rules of the comparatives .1.Listen to the teacher carefully and learn thenew structures by heart.2.Ss practice by using real information.3.Get students to conclude the rules of the comparatives.Pay attention to the rules of comparatives.(一般在词尾加-er;以e结尾的词加-r;重读闭音节结尾的词,词尾只有一个辅音字母,应先双写该字母,再加-er;以辅音字母加-y结尾的词,变y为i,再加-er。)Step 5Learning and practice1.Give a model on the blackboard,then ask Ss to make dialogues with their partners. 2.Chant 1.Work in pairs,ask and answer questions.2.
