(4)Why do you like watching the news?Because I hope to find out whats gonging on around the world.四、教学思路本课可以从生活实际出发，询问你喜欢什么电视节目？并进行回答，从而展开讨论。导入2d的教学，讲解2d。并以Grammar focus为重点和根据，完成3a-3c的教学。 五、教具 多媒体，图片，幻灯片 六、教学过程 Step 1 Revision Ask about the TV shows Step 2 Lead in First ask students what TV shows they like, and talk about them. Step 3 Role-play the conversation First ask two students to act out the conversation and then make their own conversations. This step helps them to improve their oral English and speaking skills. Step 4 Grammar focus First show some sentences in 3a, and ask students to fill in the blanks with the TV show words. Keys: watch a talk show, watch a game show, want to watch, a game show, a game show. Complete the questions with the TV show words. This step helps students know how to finish the sentences, and grasp the responses to the questions.Step 6 Pair workFirstly, ask some of the students to say sentences using the given words. Secondly, ask others to answer. Then ask each of the students to write questions. Ask and answer with a partner. One asks, the other answers, and then they give a report. This step helps to train the usages of the present tense.Step 7 A survey Teacher first ask students questions: Do you want to watch a movie? Do you hope to watch a sitcom? Do you expect to watch the news? Do you plan to watch a sports show? Some students would say like this: Yes, I do./ No, I dont. Make the survey：Ask your classmates questions and write their manes in the chart. Step 8 Summary Help the students know when and how to use the present tense.
