Warming-up (Free talk.)Whats your favorite food? Why do you like it?. Presentation1. (show some pictures of food on the big screen) Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.2. Teach the new words, ask them to try to remember them. 3. Activity 1a: Read the words on the left and look at the pictures on the right. Write the letters of the food on the line. Then check the answers. Answers:1-8.g b c d e f a h. Game.(Show some pictures of food on the big screen)Let Ss talk about what food it is. Do you like it?. Listening 1. T: Now, lets listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders. _ Special 1 _ Special 2 _ Special 3 2. Listen again and check the answers. 3. Listen and complete the conversation.Waitress: _?Boy: Im not sure yet. Are there any vegetables in the _ ?Waitress: Yes, there are some _.Boy: OK, Id like the _, please. Pair work Activity 1c.1. Make their own conversations using the noodles in the picture.2. Let some students act out their own conversations on the blackboard. Listening 1. 2a; T: Now, look at the pictures on the right, listen to the conversations and check the names of the foods you hear. Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and check the names of the foods. Check the answers. 2. 2b: Listen again and complete the sentences. Play the recording twice. The first time Ss just listen. And the second time, ask them to write down the words on their books. 3. Check the answers. Pair work 1. Ask and answer questions with your partner. Use the information in 2a. 2. Show the conversations of 2a on the big screen to the Ss. 3. Make a model for the Ss. T: What kind of noodles would you like?S1: Id like beef noodles, please.3. Ss work in pairs and practice the conversations. Grammar1. What kind of noodles would you like? would like表示“想要”,与want同义,但比want更委婉。would like中的would可缩写为d。would like没有人称和数的变化,后面可接名词,可用于would like to do sth.结构中,表示“愿意做某事”,还可用于would like sb. to do sth.,表示“想让某人做某事”。如:I would / Id like a cup of tea. 我想要一杯水。She would / Shed like to play tennis. 她想打网球。My father would like me to go home early. 我爸爸想让我早点回家。Would you like sth.? (你想要吗?)常用来委婉地提供帮助。其肯定回答常用Yes, please等;其否定回答常用No, thanks等。如: Would you like mutton noodles? 你想要羊肉面吗? Yes, please. / No, thanks. 是的。/ 不,谢谢。2.a bowl of 一碗 two bowls of 两碗 e.g. Id like a bowl of beef cabbage noodles. 我想要一碗牛肉洋白菜面。 Wed like two bowls of mutton carrots soup. 我们想要两碗羊肉胡萝卜汤。.
