Unit 5. Why do you like pandas? Section A教学设计本溪市第二中学 孟丽红1. 教材分析：我使用的教材是人教版新目标英语Go for it. 我要教授的内容为Unit5 Why do you like pandas? Section A (the First Period).本单元包括两个部分：Section A 部分通过设置参观动物园的情景，谈论动物及对动物的喜好，然后通过听，说，读活动学习谈论动物喜好及来自哪里。Section B 部分通过对濒危动物的调查，引出保护濒危动物“大象”的语篇阅读，培养学生保护动物的意识和人文素养。所以学生在本节课的学习是为后面学习奠定基础。2. 学情分析：授课对象是七年级学生，学生已经掌握了一些英语知识，而且本课学生需要掌握的内容与动物有关，能激发学生的好奇心，使学生产生了解它们的强烈欲望，有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。3. 教学目标：1） 知识目标New words：animal，tiger，elephant，panda，lion ,koala ,giraffe ,cute, lazy, smart, scary, kind, kind of ,Australia, south, AfricaDrills: What animals do you like? Why do you like pandas? Because they are cute. Where are they from? They are from China.2) 能力目标 To observe and describe animals. To talk about their preferences.3) 情感目标 Animals are our friends. We should protect them.4. 教学重，难点：1） 教学重点：学会描述动物的特点 学会表达喜欢某种动物，原因以及来自哪里2） 教学难点：kind 的用法，kind of5. 教学方法教法：任务型教学学法：合作探究与独立思考相结合6. 教学过程：Step1. Lead in1. Before class, enjoy a song Old Macdonald had a farm设计意图：课前播放这首歌曲，学生可以跟着唱，这样能调动学生的积极性，活跃课堂气氛同时歌曲也是一种学习资源。2. Watch a video. After watching a video ,give the students two questions: Whats the video about? Where can we see more animals? 设计意图：视频Animal world导入新课，激发学生学习本课的兴趣，把学生引入英语学习的氛围中。3. Ask students to write some animal words on the blackboard.设计意图：通过学生课前收集有关动物的单词，让学生体会分享的乐趣，培养学生自学的能力。4. PPT播放本溪动物园图片，自然导入到本课的学习。 Step 2 Presentation Task 1 Guessing game：Teacher shows parts of animals bodies by slide show, then let students guess what kind of animals they are. 设计意图：增加趣味性，借助ppt图片，学习有关动物的新单词，通过猜动物游戏拉近和学生的距离，使他们心情愉悦，学生学习英语的兴奋点继续被激起，易于进入学习情境。 2 Teacher says：I like pandas because they are friendly.Lead to the description words and guide them to speak out more words. Then ask and answer Where are pandas from ?5.Listening practice :Ask students to listen to the tape and check the answers together.Teach : kind , kind of 设计意图：指导学生读懂听力要求，听关键词，在听中学英语，在培养学生听的能力同时回到课本中通过习题突破难点。Task 3 Group work： Make a survey Ask them what animals they like ,why they like them and where they are from.
