Teach students how to express the process of making a banana milk shake.2. Lead students to make their own conversations (or to do something else) by using the target language and the structures.Teaching Difficult Point Help students to express the process of making something to drink or something to eat.Teaching procedures: Step 1 A duty report. ( about eating) (3 minutes) After making the speech, students will be asked at least 2 questions to check whether they really understand it and whether they really get the main information. Then one of them will be asked to repeat the speech according to the key information that they have already made. Step 2 Short talks. (1 minute) Now let the students begin their short talks: What is your favorite fruit? Then practice each other through the pictures on PPT.Step 3 Lead in and new words (3 minutes) Practice by asking “What is your favorite fruit?”Then lead in the new lesson - a banana milk shake.1. Teach the new words through three ways of eating a banana by PPT( This is the most important). peel cut up pourinto yogurt2. And deal with some other new words by asking “what do we need to make a banana milk shake?” on PPT.3. Teach students the steps of making a banana milk shake using the pictures on PPT.The steps: First, Next, Next, And then , Finally, Step 4 Activity 1- challenge yourself. (4 minutes)Go on to practicing the processes to follow the instructions. First, Next, Next, And then, Finally, Step 5 Activity 2-Make a different milk shake with your favorite fruit. (4 minutes)Encourage students to make new short conversations according to the steps of making a banana milk shake.A How do you make a banana/ apple/ milk shake? B Peel the bananasTeacher should offer help in need as students are practicing, such as some words they dont know, some necessary expressions and so on.Some groups can act out their conversations directly by looking at the given structure.At least 6 groups are supposed to be asked to act out their conversations. Step 6. 1b Listening Listen and put the instructions in order. (6 minutes)1. Play the tape recording for the 1st time and let students to get the main idea.2. Play the tape recording for the 2nd time and make them finish 1b.3. Play the tape recording for the 3rd time and students try to repeat sentence by sentence and understand the conversations, meanwhile ,they should pay attention to these sentences:1) Lets make a banana milk shake2) How do you make a banana milk shake?3)Now put the bananas and ice-cream in the blender4)Pour the milk shake into a glass and drink it.4.
