Whats the weather like? Its sunny/raining3)描述正在进行的活动。2.能力目标:1)学会用英语来询问天气和描述天气情况。2)谈论人们正在进行的活动。3.情感目标:学会善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;通过了解世界各地的天气情况,感受不同地区的气候差异。三、教学重难点:重点:1、掌握本课所学的相关生词。2、能够运用所学句型Hows the weather? /Whats the weather like?Its sunny/raining进行交际。难点:如何用英语来询问天气和描述天气情况。四、教具:多媒体课件、音频五、教学方法:以学生为主体,以任务、游戏、讲练为主线,采用多媒体课件,运用“交流-互动”模式进行教学。六、教学步骤:Step1.Greeting Good afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today? Are you happy now? Step2.warming up.Well, good weather has good mood. Do you know the meaning of “weather”? Look at the pictures on the screen. Yes , in this lesson, we will learn something about weather , Unit7 Its raining. Section A(1a-2c)Step3.Presentation.Now, Lets finish the exercises first. Write down these English words in a minute (new words). (Show pictures of weather),do you know these signs of the weather. The first one is 。Please open your book at Page37 and finish 1a. look at the pictures. Hows the weather? Its Teach the new words and read.Step4.Guessing game.Can you describe the weather now? Ok, lets check it. Are you ready? (If you know the answer ,please stand up quickly and tell us )Show the flashcard on the screen to the Ss.Step5 Presentation.Very good. By the way ,do you know how to ask others the weather in English? Look at the screen. Hows the weather ? Its ,(Have Ss practice like this : Hows the weather? Its) ( Then show these cities to Ss) Mr. Green is going to travel. Do you want to know which city he is going to ? Step 6.Listening and fill in the boxes in 1a.Listen to the conversations, pay attention to the key words “weather and cities”. Fill in the boxes in 1a.Step7. Group work.Have Ss look at the picture that a girl is making the weather report , and then ask Ss to make a weather report like that .Give each group 5 minutes to think it about. Ask some Ss to come to the Bb and show.Step8. Listening Show pictures on the screen and have Ss answer together . Look, what are the family doing? Point to the pictures and ask “whats aunt sally /Mary/Jeff/uncle Joe doing?”Ss answer .Then listen to the conversation and number the pictures1-4. Listen again, Match the names with the activities. Check them.Step9.Revision.Show the picture on the screen and revise “What is she/he/ are they doing?”.Step10.Listening.Look, what are the family doing? Point to the pictures and ask “whats aunt sally /Mary/Jeff/uncle Joe doing?” Ss answer .Then listen to the conversation and number the pictures1-4. Listen again, Match the names with the activities. Check them.Step11.PracticeWork in groups. Have Ss look at the pictures and ask them to tell a story in English. Choose volunteers to report.Step12.Summary.What have we learnt today?
