Unit 10 Id like some noodles.Section A (1a-2d)Part 1 Analysis of Teaching MaterialTeaching Aims:(教学目标)1. Knowledge Aims(知识目标): To enable the students to understand and speak: What kind of noodles would you like? What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like . Make sure that students can use these sentences in real situation.2. Abilities Aims(能力目标): To develop students abilities of listening and speaking; To train the students ability of working in groups; To foster students abilities of communication .3. Emotion Aims(情感目标): To foster students consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition; To foster students healthy lifestyle.4.Key points(重点) : 重点词汇:noodles, beef ,mutton, chicken, cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes. 重点句型: What kind of noodles would you like? Id like beef and tomato noodles. What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like a largemediumsmall bowl of noodles. 5. Difficult points(难点): Guide the students to learn how to order food.引导学生怎样用英语表达定餐。 Part 2. Analysis of studentsAs for Grade 7 students ,they can understand some words and some simple sentences, they are curious about new things and have a strong desire to learn better. However, their English teaching levels are different from each other, they need teachers help and encouragement in their future study.Part 3 Teaching and learning methods 1.Teaching Methods and Aids(教法教具) :In this lesson, the multi-media will be used to make the class lively and improve my teaching result: so Ill mainly use “Task-based” teaching method .I will let the Ss learn in real situations, finish a task by making a survey to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structures of the dialogue. And in this lesson, a recorder, CAI, school things and a printed form will be needed. 2. Learning methods(学法): (1). Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners.(2). Get the Ss to form good learning habits.(3). Teach the Ss how to communicate with others and take competition methods to develop the Ss interest in English.Part 4 Teaching procedures and purposes of designingStep1 . Warm-up and Lead-in.Step2. Presentation.Step3. Practice.Step4. Summary and HomeworkStep1 . Warm-up and Lead-inShow the preview tasks Task1:要求学生课前收集日常生活中熟悉的蔬菜、肉类、面食类的实物或图片,通过查阅课本、词典及网络等工具写出并拼读这些英语单词. Task2:请同学们交流各自的收集成果,鼓励学生踊跃展示图片或到黑板上板书单词并拼读。 【Purpose】:通过完成课前任务培养学生自主学习的能力,养成课前预习的良好学习习惯;通过成果展示既可以温故而知新,又可调动课堂气氛,为新课的学习打下基础。Step2. presentation New words learning1、Reading (Read the new words in Section A)成果展示后重点识读课本中的七个单词,特别注意单词的正确读音和拼写,纠正展示中学生读错写错的地方,借助多媒体放映实物图片加深印象。2、Speaking (Work in pairs to practice the conversation)A: What would you like? B: Id like some,根据放映的实物图片引导学生操练对话。(先师问生答,再同桌间互相问答)。【Purpose】:单词融入句型中学习,培养学生在语境中理解识记单词的能力,也为下面新句型的学习打下基础。3、Listening(Section A, 1b 2a 2b) 训练学生听的能力,播放课本上的听力2a、2b,做听力练习,进一步巩固所学知识。 【 Purpose 】:变换学习方式,保持学生学习热情,落实单词记忆 . Step2. Presentation New sentences learning句型1: What kind of noodles would you like?Id like beef noodles.结合学生生活经验,学会从面条中添加不同的内容角度描述面条的品种,扩展学习新句型。句型2: What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like a large bowl of noodles.结合学生生活经验,学会从面条外部碗的型号角度描述面条的品种,扩展学习新句型。(重在体会句型1与句型2的相同和不同)Step3. Practice.Activity 1:Make a surveyName kinds of sizes bowl of noodles【 Purpose 】:活动始终围绕主要话题展开,该活动既巩固了新知,又拓展了新单词(鼓励学生查阅词典),增进相互间的了解,加深同学之间的友谊,为下面任务做好准备。 Activity 2 : (Section A 1c 、2c 、2d)Order food in a noodle house事先将学生分组,每小组同学共同创设情境,编排对话,然后推选几位分别扮演顾客和服务员,表演节目。为了鼓励学生参与活动,对基础较差的同学允许他们用汉语替代一些不太熟悉的名词。【 Purpose 】:学是为了用,活动中培养学生在生活中大胆说英语,激发学生学英语的热情;展现学生的表演才华,锻炼学生与人合作的能力和表演能力。Step4. Summary and HomeworkSummary: New words and phrases Drills 1、-What would you like? -I would like a bowl of noodles.2、-What kind of noodles would you like? -I would like cabbage and beef noodles.3、-What size bowl of noodles would you like? -Id like a small /medium /large bowl , please.【 Purpose 】:及时小结,培养学生良好的学习习惯,巩固本节课的重点。Step4. Summary and HomeworkHomework: 1. Recite the new words and sentences in this lesson2. Make dialogues according to this lesson.(询问同桌喜爱吃的食物,记录下来,下节课与同学组成对话)。 【 Purpose 】:将课堂中所学的知识应用到日常生活中,让学生在生活中巩固课堂知识,拓展学生视野,培养学习兴趣.
