Book 3 Unit 2 Parents and Children第一课时 A Boy And The Tree 重庆市朝阳中学 张慧恒知识目标:1. 能根据语境猜测词义。2. 能通过快速阅读和仔细阅读理解文章主旨和作者意图,以及细节信息。3. 能区别文章的文体,了解其组织结构和事件的发展顺序。4. 能熟练运用用于描述各种情绪的形容词。情感目标:1. 在学习中,乐于与人合作,乐于表达自己的情感。 2. 感受体察并懂得人性中最无私的爱,即父母之爱。以父母对孩子无条件的付出来鼓励学生好好学习,作一个有用的人来孝顺报答父母的养育之恩。 学习策略:1. 在读的过程中,借助情景和上下文猜测词义。 2. 利用预测,判断,归纳,找关键词等手段分析和解决问题,并对 所学内容进行整理和归纳。 3. 运用表演的方式让学生加深对文章的理解和记忆。4. 运用写给父母的话这种方式,让学生对父母说出自己的心里话。教学重点和难点:1. 进一步认识到阅读中出现的生词可通过各种技巧来获得其意义,并根据语境猜测词义。 2. 在阅读的过程中,引导学生借助文章提供的信息,进一步了解和记忆全文的重要细节和事实。Procedures:Step One:Looking AheadGreeting Ss as usual. T takes out an apple and asks Ss: “Whats this?” And leads in a song named “apple”. All students sing together. Then T uses An apple a day keeps the doctor away to tell Ss that they should eat an apple a day. And then use another meaning of apple to lead in “the apple of ones eye”. Ss are the apple of their parents eyes.Step Two: Getting ReadyLets Ss predict the relationship between the boy and the tree after watching the video. Watch the video about a boy and his apple tree and guess: Whats the relationship between the boy and the tree ?lovers parents and children friends(Dont give them the answer, tell them that they can find the answer in the passage through fast reading)Step Three: Fast Reading1. Read the passage quickly with those three exercises. (as follows)2. After reading the passage, Ss check that their prediction about the relationship between the boy and the tree is right or wrong.3. Check answers about those three exercises.
