It was great ! Did you go to the zoo ? No, I didnt. I went to a farm. Did you see any cows ? Yes, I did. I saw quite a lot. Did Carol ride a horse ? No, she didnt. But she milked a cow. Were the strawberries good ? Yes, they were . No, they werent. 2. Skill target: Know how to use the simple past tense to express the bygones.Be able to talk about the things finished.3.Emotional goal: Learn to introduce ones life to others,eapecially the things happened in the past,be willing to share ones experiences with others.二、 Teaching key and difficult points1. Greeting.2.Talk about what they have learnt about the simple past tense.1.Greeting What did you do yesterday?Did you sleep well?2.Review what we have learnt about the simple past tense.Presentation(10 mins)1. Talk about the past forms of these verbs.2. Read together3. Find the irregular change of the verbs.1. Show the five situations of verbspast tense.Show some verbs relate to each situation.2. Show a song to help them memorize the rules.Game time(5 mins)Five groups will get the cards.Stand up the whole group if the verb should turn to past forms by their way.Read the words together.Give each group one card,every card stands for one rule.show some verbs(动词)to the students,let them turn the verbs to the past forms.The relevant group stand up .Presentation(8 mins) Find the formulas of the general questions and answers in the simple past tense through the Grammar Focus.2.Make the differences between Pattern B and Pattern Do .1. Tell the students the two different structures(Be&Do ) of the general questions and answers in the simple past tense.2. Summary the differences between Pattern B and Pattern Do.Drill(6 mins)One student find the cards needed for the sentences,the other make sentences by the cards.1. Show the assertive sentencs and question structure of simple past tense.2. Give three pairs of sentences.3.
